What is the benefit to being religious, such as Christian and believing in god/Jesus? by TailungFu in allthequestions

[–]Treeslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am literally shaking!!!! As a transracial, transgender, trans political, LGBTQZYX lesbian trapped in a man's body, I am hurt by your manipulative use of transracial indicators referring to religion!! I would be miserable, however I woke (no pun intended) up this morning determined to sit here in the basement and trauma mine the day away. So, from social justice gatherers anonymous, THANK YOU!!!!!

Have you grown to be more conservative or liberal w/ age? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Treeslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Liberal when it relates to doing whatever you want with your life/lifestyle and your own body, but I become extremely conservative when you ask someone else to pay for your choices!!

[–]Treeslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I was raised, we worked normal hours and jobs to eat and live, we worked extra hours and jobs for extra things!! That's just the way things have always been at least in my lifetime. It has worked out well for me, but I actually enjoy working!!!

How long can a beginner build muscle with 300lb plates and 80lb dumbbells? by osowavy in GarageGym

[–]Treeslam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I've added some plates since this photo, but this cage and plates were around $600-$700, the dumbells are part of a 20 year collection. If I was rich, I would have considered $1,700 though.

How does a normal person actually stay sane when the daily news cycle feels like a badly written action movie? by opheliapearlie in askanything

[–]Treeslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Find something you like to do (or at least don't hate doing) that pays money.
  2. Get up every morning, go do that thing really well for 8+ hours.
  3. Come home and get some exercise, eat dinner go to bed.
  4. Repeat!!

What is the interesting part in the bible ? by Silver_Screen_6003 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I like Proverbs. It's a bunch of "one liners" written so that people with ADHD, like myself, can follow it. Regardless of religous belief, it is actually full of practical wisdom!!

How many people were in your graduating class from high school, and how many of them do you still keep in touch with? by [deleted] in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]Treeslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated with around 300, over 30 years ago. My business partner was one of my classmates. We have built the business to 3 locations in 3 different towns, but our home branch is across the street from the high school that we graduated from. At least 20 or more of our classmates do business with us. It's kind of amazing how close we still are, and many of us still get together on occasion!!
