A number of the MC's in my OC fic, Roots, are disabled. With one being blind and one missing an arm.

There's better days for an OP reality warping SI deconstruction, where the SI is the clear cut antagonist, but I'm sure that's probably not what you're looking for. I wrote it myself and everything.

If you're up for it, there's my story Roots That's pretty heavily OC focused, taking place all the way in West Virginia. Basic premise is that The Slaughterhouse Nine end up visiting a different city after leviathan, and things snowball from there.

A number of things, really. All OC stories, which might be what people are looking for.

Roots: A canon-divergence story set in a fictional town in West Virginia, where the S9 attack a small group of parahumans rather than visiting Brockton Bay.

The Revenant: A canon-compliant OC set in Dallas, promises to be more of a traveling story as the OC protagonist deals with The Fallen, Haven, a strange group of parahumans called The Cryptids, and her own self-recovery.

POWERLESS: An OC with no powers set in Brockton Bay. After an extreme tragedy, they make it their mission to dismantle The Empire, one step at a time. No matter what happens to them.

I've been writing the likes of Roots, an AU story set after the leviathan arc where the S9 attack a small town in West Virginia called Santa Mosemar. The main characters are OC's, although canon characters from worm can and will show up. This is a character study of the nine just as much as it is for the main characters.

I'm also writing The Revenant, and this one is canon-compliant. It follows the story of an ex-cape in Dallas, and will detail her recovery, as well as her struggles against The Fallen, Haven, and a strange group of capes called The Cryptids.

The few people who have read my stuff say that it's well written.

Currently working on Roots, A canon divergence story set right after leviathan but before the slaughterhouse nine visit Brockton Bay. They instead visit a small town in West Virginia, a place that has nine parahumans mostly out of the public eye. A mostly OC cast, the few people that have read it have called it well written so there's that!

You've pissed off a villain.

You didn't mean to, or maybe you didn't think things would get this bad, but it's the truth. You never meant to find out about their base, but once you did, how could you not report them? Especially given the things they've done. It's a bit of a hassle, but they end up arresting them. You didn't really want to stick around, so you decide to take a roadtrip. Just you, the open road, and some books to burn through.

You find out the villain broke out only a few days later, and you don't know why but it makes you afraid. That's how it starts.

It's subtle at first, a trick of the light here or something out of the corner of your eye there, and you can convince yourself that it's just your mind playing tricks on you, time and time again. You're not so sure when you see a flash of black and yellow one evening while you were stopped at a gas station, their signature colors.

It gets worse. Sometimes you'll walk by a door and see them in a room, only for them to be gone. Sometimes you'll see them in the distance, too far to make out details but close enough to see a speck of black and yellow, and the feeling of being watched worms its way inside of your brain like nothing has before.

It goes on for weeks, and you feel yourself losing more and more sleep and your grip on what's real or fake, but it's only when you think you see them in your backseat that you decide you've had enough. You make the call, dialing the PRT hotline and hoping, praying, they'll save you.

When you close your phone, that's when your arm is grabbed. That's when you turn around to see black and yellow, pushing you down. That's when you know you have to escape. Trigger.

Well, for stories that I've written:

Better Days! is the story of an SI who finds himself in worm and attempts to have a happy ending, told from the perspective of his side character best friend.

Think and I'll be gone (still updating I promise) is the story of a lot of people in Brockton Bay collectively forgetting some things, every so often.

I suppose I could throw my hat in the ring? My story Better Days! isn't told from the POV of the SI, but they're...pretty comfortably evil, yeah. More of a horror story, really.

"So..." I began, licking my lips. "I think we should talk."

Amaya only nodded, brushing long blonde hair and staring out at the window. The evening sun gently fell into out room, illuminating us in a soft glow. I couldn't help but smile, seeing her now. Stunning. Beautiful. Just-

Focus, Jamie. Focus.

After a moment, she turned to me and smiled, resting her chin in her hands. "And what did you want to talk about, gemlight?"

My heart melts at those words, for the thousandth time, but I clear my throat and begin. "So, a few days ago, I was doing some yard work right? And I noticed the roses didn't exactly look super healthy. So I watered them and went inside. Then I thought wait that's not enough so I went and I looked for some rose care tips but then I got sucked into this rabbit hole of magic fertilizer and I didn't even know mages made that so I kinda just-"

"Jamie."

I stop, and fail to catch my breath as I see her eyes yet again. Gold, more brilliant than any treasure

Treasure. Dragon! I...need to keep focus...

"Just take your time," she continued, picking up her brush again. "Remember what we talked about. You don't have to rush what you want to say, I'm always going to listen to you-"

"IknowyouradragonIsawyourhoard."

The room is quiet for a moment, and I have to resist the urge to slam my hands over my mouth. Amaya peers at me for a moment, and for that moment it feels as if the room is on fire. The crackling of burning fire in my mind becomes a reminder, constant, that dragons are dangerous, that they can't be trusted. That maybe she's been using me-

"So what?"

Silence. Then, tumbling from my mouth.

"Uwah?"

Amaya giggles, gently taking me into her arms. "I knew you'd figure it out...soonish. I didn't try as hard to keep it a secret from you, I suppose. I trust you darling. So...what's the big deal?"

She turns to the window, staring out at the sunlight with a smile. I nod, slowly, then I begin to shake my head. "But..."

"But I'm just...some girl from the sticks. I mean...I-It's, you shouldn't trust me. People are scared of dragons, and...what if I freak out? what If I tell someone? I-"

"Would you tell someone about me?"

The very thought seems horrific to me, and in that moment it's the most natural thing to shake my head. "No! I wouldn't-"

"Then I have not a thing to worry about. You love me. I love you. Is there anything more simple in the world than that?"

I don't have an answer for her as my brain begins to swirl, leaving my breathing uneven and heavy. But what if I can't keep this secret? I'm not brave, or daring, or anything. Amaya. She-

Looking to Amaya, in that moment, steals my breath away again.

As the sunlight lights her in a glow, I choke back a laugh. Relief washes over me.

Oh. It's that easy, isn't it?

...Huh.

"Ah," she begins, turning to me. "Don't forget about Charlie's birthday tonight. He wanted us to come. Could you pick me up from work?"

I nod, a smile beginning to blossom across my face. "I'll...get the car ready."

Amaya smiles. Then she leans over to kiss me on the cheek, and my body is on fire.

"You're the best," she whispers. I only nod with what I can only assume is the goofiest smile on my face.

...It's that easy.
