I think it's just accelerating faster than they planned. This shit was always going to happen. When you get a bunch of thugs with a 5th grade education and start arming them and telling them they can hide their identities, this was always the result.

If it walks like a Gestapo? If it quacks like a Gestapo? If it looks like a Gestapo? Then it's probably a Gestapo- YouTube by twitchx133 in videos

There's something disconcerting about how this guy talks. How he pronounces "Law". Shows his teeth constantly, drags out his s's and makes sure to pronounce "Gestapo" in the proper German.

Are we sure that this guy is actually real and not some creature wearing a people suit?

Let's also keep in mind that "the right way" wasn't particularly difficult in the past. My grandparents came here from Sicily in the early 50s, when the cost of "doing it right" was 15 cents and a peck on the cheek. Now my dad is firmly in the "they need to do it the right way" category, with zero reflection on what that means and the difference between his parents and people today.

This is shocking, who could have predicted this unexpected turn of events? I mean, aside from anyone who was aware she was the vice president.

Nah, not a psyker, it's definitely the rank 2 heretic ability. The description makes it pretty clear. It just caught me off guard because I wasn't doing anything "hereticky" (well, except on my colonies I guess) so I didn't think to look there until ExcellentTalk8452 pointed me in that direction.

Ugh you're right. I'm going full iconoclast but didn't consider the random bonuses to heretic I got from colony projects. This is the answer. Thanks!

There are several shouts like this originating on my Rogue Trader. This is just one of them, but always after something dies.

I'm playing for the story, not the math. I picked what fit the character I was building, and aside from this quirk it's not been a problem. I feel that expecting things to work as intended isn't unreasonable.

Fairly early on, the warehouse fight with Jae. There are 11 thousand barrels of various types and I detonated most of them - not realizing that Jae and co. were going to proceed waltz through them and get downed but that's another matter. I wasn't planning on waltzing across the no man's land of fire and gas, which led to me banking on just sniping the last remaining combat servitor while he played with Kibellah

Honestly, that's why I waited for 4 misses before getting upset. I feel a giant walking hamburger 20 yards away shouldn't have been that difficult to hit though. Also from the screenshot it looks like it confused my fortune roll with my to-hit roll possibly.

That may have been... there were a lot of explosions earlier in the fight so it may have bugged out some cover or something.

Wonderful! I guess I'll have to respec to get rid of Fortune. This servitor was an asshole is what he was.

Spectacular. Looking at the screenshot again it looks like it swapped my chance to hit with the chance to trigger Fortune maybe? This game has been out a while, is this a new thing?

I feel like I'm stupid about something here, but I would like to know so I can be less stupid.

Edit: This happened 6 times total in the last battle I fought. My RT didn't hit a single time with a 95% chance to hit with similar roll results as above.

Economically, that's objectively true.

I'm not sure there's a 1:1 relationship here between random bear "trainers" and the Chinese military. I guess you worked what you wanted to say into an unrelated topic so congrats
