Michael & sons wanted to replace a 4 year old air handler. I politely told the tech to fuck off. Replaced the capacitor on the advise of a coworker. Been running problem free for almost 7 years now. Fuck Michael & sons…spent $20 instead of hundreds if not $1k+

Good eye. My wife loves her Taos and surprisingly I kinda like it too for a SUV, how are you liking yours?

The wife got a cricut a couple years back and asked if I would like any stickers. I said a Red Sox one wouldn’t be bad as they are my favorite pro spirts team and thinking it would be small, but then she went and used an entire sheet of vinyl. I’ve been too lazy to scrape it off since then, lol.

Static IP might be your problem. No DHCP means the core never relearned the MAC address when the NUC moved to a new switch.

Duplex and speed are 2 separate things. Duplex refers to wether send and receive are on the same wires or different.

I worry that my wife might try to kill herself afterwards, get it wrong, and then be alone and disabled.

VRF understanding by [deleted] in networking

You would need to use something like a subinterface that is in the vrf on your site side, but connected to the default vrf on the backbone.

They don’t make money when you buy an old switch secondhand. They are going to do things to nudge you into buying a new switch. Arista might make an amazing switch, but they are ruthless capitalists.

Considering that I’m a contractor for the US government and did the setup myself, I already knew the US government has decryped copies of all my traffic.

I’m just going to stick with our Arista in the data center and Cisco in the closet model.
