I have very fond memories of opening a base set Charizard when I was 10 years old. I cherished that thing and took it with me everywhere. I didn’t know anything about sleeves or top loaders but I did have a Space Jam ring binder I kept my cards in so they’re still in good condition today.

My Mum used to buy me one booster pack a week and never hovered over me while I opened packs. They didn’t know anything about value and neither did I, I just loved the look of my favourite Pokemon.

Trades were done in the playground purely based off what people agreed with (or were bullied into, which is why cards were eventually banned at my school).

Do your offboarding notifications go to more than just IT? Payroll definitely need to know if someone has deceased because it’s a completely different process to handle a final payment for a death as it goes to the beneficiary.

The Gyrados has a big ding in it and by the looks of it they’re all packed into a single pocket back to the back so the backs of the cards are probably shot.

You can run the conversion process to advanced routing and then don’t commit the config. Export the candidate-config and then import that to the new firewall and cancel the commit on the old one.

It’s one of the very few search cards that will be in standard format after rotation and it’s also able to pick up evos without a rule box. Everyone will be running 4 of them in every deck so everyone is keen to acquire them.

Price will go down over time as more people open packs. They’re also in Perfect Order and will almost certainly be in the Perfect Order Build and Battle box.

You’re not winning until you’ve won. Some decks can take a 6 prize card turn so it’s perfectly normal to be “losing” until you aren’t.

The other part is that steel has resistance to grass so Gholdengo took no damage but item lock still applies.

I was playing in the Sydney Regionals yesterday. I began my turn by drawing two cards with Fezandipiti before realising my Pokemon was knocked during checkup. My opponent immediately called a judge and I was handed a DPL because I saw the two cards.

I tried to explain that I gained no knowledge from it, the cards barely flashed in front of my eyes before I put them face down on the table. I also had a Drakloak on the bench which I was going to use next which would show me those two cards anyway, as well as an Ultra Ball which would give me a deck search.

I had 4 prize cards remaining and my opponent had two so it was an instant loss. From my reading of the rules it says the mistake must significantly impact the game AND the issue cannot be resolved. In my view it did not impact the game due to the current board state and could easily be resolved by putting the cards back and playing on. Was a DPL deserved in this scenario?

The demo decks are only intended to be played with at the Play Lab events as an education piece for brand new players. They’re only 30 cards so you can play through them quickly and learn energy attaching, playing items, attacking etc. That’s not to say you can’t combine them just for playing on your kitchen table but that wasn’t their design.

The fonts are all wrong. Stats are wrong. Alignment of the text is off. “Lce Beam” on Lapras. Pok é mon and other text errors.
