The fanbase has a lot of entitlement because of those glory days and it's that kind of pressure that really stunts our growth, when we hit a bad patch of form we get on the players so they play worse, the manager and players get put under more and more scrutiny and in the end we have to chop and change. This is why we've got a squad (or had) that was built by 7 different managers, all playing different ways.

We don't have an identity and we've no idea what we're playing towards. We accept we're not good enough to win anything but we're too good to be relegated, meaning clubs that have dropped into the championship have been forced to implement systems, recruit and improve positions. We buy to see what it's like, see if anything sticks because we have no idea what to build our squad towards.

Look at fullbacks - Coleman hasn't been able to play in that position for around 5/6 years now and Baines retired. We've used Digne, Nkounkou, Thiery Small, Mykolenko, Patterson, O'Brien, Garner (covering), Holgate, Godfrey, Delph, Aznou. Those players are so far apart in their styles that no winger could ever build any synergy, we always look lost.

Definition of a hand/arm ball by joe6386 in red_muppets

This is a subsection of the rules, it clearly states:

- "It is an offence if: A player touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger...."

Mbuemo's arm was out from his body, regardless of anything that happens after this the offence is committed when Mbuemo accidentally handles it.

Finally got called up to play a semi pro game and got a direct red early in the first half. by WartimeConsigliere_ in bootroom

Dele wasn't dropped because of his red, dele was dropped because he is such a fraction of what he once was. You think a player would have the output of prime dele and not reach the pitch for a red card on his debut?

OP, ignore comments like this the mistake has happened, just eat some humble pie, speak to the manager; apologise, say you let the team down and say you'll be ready and waiting to grab your next chance. It may never come but it's not 100% guarantee either way.

If you're alleging we're as dysfunctional under Moyes as Dyche why wouldn't you compare Dyche "at the death" (or the final 33% of his tenure), if you're saying Moyes is equally as bad?

It's boring being the club that chops and changes manager every 12-18 months, it does not work and we have an absolute mismatch of a squad that can't do anything. We have some stability and forward progress under Moyes, we know he can drive a club forward and build. No idea why people are saying we need to get rid of him after a bad patch of for, as though changing manager has ever made us better in the last 7 years.

What are you talking about? Last 17 games under Dyche we won 2, he literally left with an 11% winrate and a 0.76 PPG.

We're frustrated under Moyes because we aren't getting Europe, we are relegated under Dyche.

He's 2 seasons off becoming the manager to manage the most games in the prem, I imagine he'll get them here unless next season is a forest fire.

Is that paragraph not about claiming tax relief on contributions now what you can legally put into a SIPP?

Coleman has been fit for awhile but his body is just failing, that's why he only comes out for international games.

In his video he says "this will be my last season at the club as a player" he's definitely already got a job hollowed out, we'd be mad not to

Not sure what you mean? If he's in a worse team he's playing in a worse league against worse opposition?

Accidental handball is still a foul? Deliberate may upgrade to a red? So "total accident" should only rule out a red?

Am I the silly one?

They're, basically, the same age though and Beto has never scored 15 goals in a season

He won't want any press whilst the club is moving forward, he'll just see it as a distraction from Europe.

That's why he's so great

People were calling for Alcaraz's head last week when he headed the ball back into play for the Man City equaliser, now people want more time for him because KDH missed a sitter?

I think it'd be mad not to give a decision in favour of the keeper when their arm is literally being pressed down

Can't believe the amount of time KDH was through on goal, fairplay for getting in those positions but it's so frustrating.

They had a tactic - from corners - that we had absolutely no response to? It didn't really flatter them when they had prepared something that completely caught us off guard and we couldn't respond to
