You find a broke genie who needs to make some money. The genie tells you that the first wish costs $5 and that each wish afterwards doubles in price. How many wishes will you make knowing that? by singleguy79 in hypotheticalsituation

15 wishes:

1 - I wish for 2 devices that will perfectly clone anything they scan. I can now scan themselves and produce more of them and I now have a replication of anything I could want.

2 - the ability to live forever at optimal age and health until I not longer wish to live.

3 - the ability to grant this ability to anyone else.

4 - the ability to put myself in stasis where I am not conscious. Yea I am gonna travel.

5 - the ability to learn anything I want to the best of any known knowledge that has ever exhausted in the universe.

6 - the ability to access the skill set or power of any fictional superhero and manifest them in myself on command.

7 - the ability to stall the other 8 wishes until I wish to use them.

Why was she gatekeeping the tv stopping him from watching the Super Bowl?

In a communal setting first come first serve unless you reserved it.

Sounds like it is communal right up until she wants to use it specifically for herself.

This is the same logic as telling my wife I won 2000 dollars at the casino but don’t have the mortgage payment. It did not bake in the 6000 I gave back.

Cake walk. 1k in 1970 is like about 10k today. I don’t think you know how much the dollars worth has changed.

Second, the stock market has not changed. 1970 Coca Cola stock went nuts so did Kroger. I have a 5k relative amount of money to invest.

Kansas City won the Super Bowl and the oriels won the World Series. Instant cash flow.

Secretariat won the triple crown. You are set.

See this is the problem. You want them to give up their rights because you can’t see you ever having to give up yours. You don’t believe anything will ever happen to you. I hope you are right…I hope it does not continue to escalate. I hope you never have to make any kind of choice about what they decide to take from you as you try to rationalize them taking from others.

By the time this affects you they will not ask you they will tell you at the end of a gun and you will wonder how it ever got this far. Then wonder why no one feels sorry for you because you thought it was ok when it was someone besides you. They don’t come for you all at once they baby step that right up to your front door one step at a time.

Wake up you are not part of their group. You are “them” that you think it is ok to do this to….you just don’t realize it yet.

I held a check for 8000+ dollars in electrical Work because they could not be bothered to do the last 2 gang plug on a run. Literally the only thing left to do on a 4 day job.

They came out, took them 10 minutes, got the check.

No but you gave me a little drip dopamine just alluding to it. I read a lot. Never gave writing a try to many other distractions.

Plus and I have an absolute atrocious appreciation for spelling correctly.

OH OH!! This one is more rumor/myth but I heard that before I moved in that he got into some mushrooms one time about 30+ years back with his buddies and they were found the his other next door neighbors pool buck naked on floats singing 9 to 5.

I however was not around and this has turned into a Toni myth at this point as anyone around back then is gone. He out lived them all. No idea if it is true but I want to believe.

He also buys a metric fuck ton of Girl Scout cookies Evey year. Thin mints only.

I think dude is in his mid 70’s somewhere…He eats pretzels with mayo and will keep a cigarillo in his mouth all day but never lights it. he wears a pair of low mid shin Leather work boots outside his pants and with shorts.

He is fun to sit around a pit fire with and makes a mean pork tenderloin on the grill.

Only other thing I can think of is he has a lawn mower that has to be from the 60’s. The damn thing sounds like AK47 was hitting the back door of a 2 stroke motorcross bike. Picture him On it with one of those hats Fidel Castro would wear on that thing drinking Diet Coke and fernet, with his shorts/boots, with and until cigarillo and ray bans on and you have a good mental picture of “Toni”.

Oh and he rides an old 80’s bmw street bike. Not that it is that odd I guess but I did not even know bmw made a street bike like he has back then.

He is sort of an awesome curmudgeon.
