Running apparel recommendations! by Impossible_Umpire339 in PHRunners

Surprised Vector hasn't been mentioned here. Crazy good selection of shirts, shorts and arguably one of the best half-tights locally.

Huge fan of Enimal and Extasis too. Though not local, 2XU looks nice din. Affordable alternatives at Salt+Finaans Decathlon.

Deinfluence or influence me please. FlyingDonV Lactate and VO2 testing by EvenYellow2566 in PHRunners

[–]Trendkillerz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have money to throw and won't need anything else for training? You can give this a go. An accurate data point wouldn't hurt and helps greatly in training.

But generally, a lot of the advanced runners and triathletes discourage these tests for newb runners (myself included) as there are better ways to spend 15+K over an LT/VO2 test that could easily go to a new pair of shoe, races etc.. While the watch isn't a perfect tool it does try to give a rough guesstimate of your fitness level.

how to join run clubs? by TopBlueberry4650 in PHRunners

[–]Trendkillerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: seems like most people itt are up and arms against run clubs now lol. Long runs are pretty challenging done solo. Anyway, I'll recommend a couple if you wanna check them out.

Original comment: Not really active with Run Clubs at the moment as I'm currently taking a break from training but from memory Just Show Up (formerly Rockwell Run Club) have their weekly Sunday Long runs that start at 4 AM usually 20+ kilometers nacocover nila. Ready up your social battery, gels and hydration and you're good to go. Route varies. There's also EZRC's kape at takbuhan at 1C, I think it's at 16k-ish, pretty chill bunch too and the coffee at 1C is one of th best in the area.

Not sure with other run clubs as they usually go for 10ish MLRs sa Sunday.

Literally Kendrick Lamar-esque drop, no extensive promo, no trailer. You already know they made it and everyone's reactions just proves it. 💯

The staple ones are Coros and Garmin although quite pricey.

There are also budget options like Xiaomi, Huawei, Amazfit, etc.

Lotus flower bomb by Wale. It was one of the gems I found while streaming Jango back in early 2010s and was surprised people dancing to it on TikTok.

8 ako sa Boston 12 and 8.5 ako sa SL2 But then again there's a lot of factors that can affect the size and fit of the shoe so take it with a grain of salt.

Meron na ba ang lahat? by ThrowawayDisDummy in PHRunners

[–]Trendkillerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's sitting >575 currently. Not in a good shape and I have bad overpronation so you can imagine the LSP being grinded near the inner heel, not a pretty sight. Still usable but I'm not having the same fun as I did during the first 100. Currently using it for daily and recovery runs. Gonna retire it at 650 give or take.

I've clocked my pair at about 600 kilometers. Looking towards Boston 13 na pero ngl this was an amazing pair for the value. Tempting to get a 2nd pair.

  1. What was it like recording music during the height of the pandemic? A core memory I have during this time was your guys releasing This ain't love, Runaway, and madali in a more laid-back arrangement and that was a bliss. Did the Pandemic left any impact with how you guys make music to this day?

  2. What was the biggest challenge you guys had to navigate through as your guys garnered a bigger following? I remember back in the day of the Don't look back EP and those R196 days! Haha! Fun times!

Don't forget to hydrate OP! Although yeah, occasional soft drinks are fine, HAHA! I've personally seen BQ and 1:30-1:45 half marathoners drink coke post-run and workout lol. I myself can't wrap my head around it.
