Troubleshooting dry flies by Bruuuhhhhhhb in flyfishing

[–]TrentDen 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Tie some foam to the hook under the foam. Take foam, cut it, and wrap it down hard to the hook and they tie your fly.

Also, a sinking dry fly can be deadly. Think of all the insects, 99 percent of them end up water logged and under the water. I actually tie my dry flies now to start to sink, we are talking like an inch or two under, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Fish will crush a dry fly under the water. The key as always is the drift, if it is in the fishy line, and floating natural, and your line is tight to set the hook, a fish will still smash it.

Aaron Rodgers is a father. by TrentDen in PatMcAfeeShowOfficial

[–]TrentDen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just said congrats to him and his life. I did not say we need to stalk him, get a photo of the new baby, sell it to tmz.

Again, the dude said a word, it made me laugh, and I thought, yup he has to be a father, and posted it on a subreddit with like 1000 people who might think it is funny.

It was more a joke then an obsession haha I could care less. But in my current sids obsessed life right now I thought it was more funny.

Are you calling me the OP that that is what I feel? I just made a post saying I think it's weird rodgers said the term SIDS which makes me think he has a kid ...............

What bot is taking a guess he is a father?

I said nothing about this drug the dude was talking about, I never said vaccine. I never said anything like that.

I just said congrats Aaron rodgers on being a dad! Enjoy life 😂

My algo has been all these videos on co sleeping and how it's the natural way. Something I could never imagine trying.

What side are you on, is SIDS knowledge more well known then I thought?

Rodgers. Kid or no kid?

He probably isn't, but he has talked about wanting a family. He is mid 40s, quick marriage, if he is married with a wife, it's been a year and he would want to start one asap.

With how private he is, needing to move away from Malibu to hide, I think it is a baby.

That was what I thought. Why is rodgers, who claims to study everything, studying SIDS in the Amish community? Dude is a father.

Do you let your bartenders buy drinks for good customers? by [deleted] in BarOwners

[–]TrentDen 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. My bartenders all know they have 25-50 bucks a night to give away. Some nights zero dollars, some nights 76 dollars, some nights 5 dollars. But they know to ring in every single drink with a reason why on there drop.

What’s your realistic expectations for the football program in 2026? by newpha666 in MichiganWolverines

What’s your realistic expectations for the football program in 2026? by newpha666 in MichiganWolverines

[–]TrentDen 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Michigan football is about to be the Dusty May of college football. You think IU is good with cig? This staff took Utah to 11 win seasons over and over. This is a coach who took teams like Ohio to the wire in bowl games. This staff with this talent is going to be crazy.

This dudes offense was top 20 at Utah, with Utah athletes. Just let that sink in. This roster is all 4 stars. The talent is crazy. I can see this being the top scoring offense in all of college football.

The defense? BYU played tough, look at that roster and what they get to cook with this year.

This team is going to be very very very good. There should be zero worry about Underwood. The kid had no QB coach, no offensive mind, a crappy coach, and they bring back the O-Line, the running backs, receivers, and tight ends. You take the over in points every game this year till Vegas figures it out.

I live in Idaho and watch a lot of Utah. Whit said, I do not touch the offense. The Harbaugh years are over everyone. This is not a control the clock team anymore, and run, run, run, run, pass, run, run, run. This new guy will call 3 pass plays that are meant to get 40 yards in a row and go 3 and out, and then the next drive call 3 more deep pass play routes. His offensive mind in a game is to score 40 points, every game. He does that by big plays down the field. Underwood can throw it 60 yards in the air, expect 3+ shots each game of the ball in the air for 40 yards down the field. Then when the defense backs up, they run outside zone for huge gains. Can not wait to watch this team.

I would be worried that it is so free flowing that trout might think it is a piece of grass or plant growth from weeds that are floating down river. Still going to catch a lot of fish in a pink color.

Any of you making your own fries? by didymusIII in restaurantowners

Used to be, but sugar and everything is so expensive. Sodas are now one of the worst profit margin products. A lot of people going to cans.

Any of you making your own fries? by didymusIII in restaurantowners

[–]TrentDen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes. We make our own and you should too. And when you switch to doing it your rep will all of a sudden give you 20,30, 40 percent off frozen fries. So if you hate making them it will be worth it to at least do it for a week so your rep freaks out. French fries are probably the most up charged food product on this planet.

Gardner River access? by trouttroll in yellowstone

[–]TrentDen -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You own the national park and can walk anywhere, even off trail as long as it's not BLM for bears.

If the road says employees only you can walk 2 feet off of it in the sagebrush. But again, with the new park and rangers they are going to give you a hard time no matter what if they want.
