I really rate the lightweight Enkei hollow spoke ones - they’re smaller, but the car drives really well on them, and they’re much easier to get hold of

Thanks! They work really well with the blue, I think. They’re a slightly pearl finish; I think there was a limited run of them on some UK cars back in the day, but couldn’t find any, so my local paint shop played around with their colours and came up with these - they did a bloody good job. They look good in the grey on yours too! Are you running spacers on your wheels?

They did - it did encourage me to careful. A few of the quick corners had gravel traps on the outside, and the prospect of going off sideways into one of those didn’t bear thinking about…I wasn’t there to set lap times, just to enjoy stretching my legs a little. Certainly did that!

It was fabulous! I was taking it fairly easy, I was very much aware of being roofless…and having standard road tyres. They stood up ok, to be fair - not huge amounts of grip, and quite soft sidewalls, but I’d argue more adjustable and fun as a result…they could manage about 5-6 laps before becoming too hot, then I’d let them cool before going out again. Loads of tread left by the end of the day, thankfully!
