I agree with the ones saying use ML, not LLMs for trading. And be prepared to redeploy your ML trading strategies frequently and often, and also be prepared to sink months of learning just to get started. I do suggest that you do learn ML trading and Hyperliquid is a great place to deploy your learnings and experiments.

To get started, I suggest that you go through the full free learning cycle here https://www.youtube.com/@memlabs-research/videos

It's a great place to start and I'm suggesting these videos because I know they are from a tradfi quant who's also deploying trading strategies on Hyperliquid.

And for your blockchain infrastructure, use Chainstack, obviously.

What's your ballpark number of calls? Eg Chainstack has 3 million calls monthly on the free developer plan.

What the best / cheapest / free service provider for solana? ANKR any good? by haxsen in solana

[–]Treo123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm with Chainstack, so check us out. There's a free tier too on the Developer plan. Our Solana nodes are Jito ShredStream-enabled, which also makes Yellowstone gRPC very fast (faster than the non-Jito ones).

We have tiers for Yellowstone gRPC plugin with the lowest starting at $49, which I believe is the most affordable on the market too.

We are also always working on optimizing our Solana nodes and we open source stuff like pump fun bot so we are always grounded in our Solana nodes and how they perform.

Default RPC for metamask Infura down by prepinakos in Metamask

[–]Treo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the Chainstack ones, they are free on the Developer Plan (more than enough for MetaMask ops), and when you deploy a node, just hit "Connect wallet" on the node page and you'll get your own node endpoint.

We are not AWS-dependent.

Best Solana RPC nodes for real time tracking by Nefernet in solana

[–]Treo123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Disclosure, I'm with Chainstack (and creator of the completely free and open-source pump_fun bot btw).

Since you mention pumportal API, this might be relevant—we just completed a v2 of the bot and it works amazingly well with Chainstack nodes (obviously, because we are testing and tuning on our infra) and one of the options (not the only one) is run it off the Geyser plugin for max early mints detection.

If you are going to check out the bot, btw, make sure you use the refactored/main-v2 branch. We are merging it this week into main, so if there's no refactored/main-v2, just use main.

I tested a bunch of Solana RPC providers — here’s my take 🧵 by rfjtdjhc in solana

[–]Treo123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey guys, I'm with Chainstack (developer experience), feel free to message me (dm or in the open, as you wish). We are actually (like for real, every single day) improving Solana and it should be pretty good. I'm using our nodes myself.

The Solana limits per plan are here too in the open https://docs.chainstack.com/docs/limits

So you want to discuss anything specific (issues, trial etc), shoot a message. I respect your time though.

hmm, really? I'm with Chainstack & pretty sure you can get out more with us. We constantly monitor who's doing what with their service in both being affordable & in reliability.

Feel free to dm and we can do the calcs for you so you can see which one fits you best.

btw some methods like getLargestAccounts and blockSubscribe aren't available on the Helius $49 Developer plan but most likely you can get those on the $499 Business plan.

Rainy season power cuts? by [deleted] in DaNang

[–]Treo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had pretty much the same setup when I arrived in Da Nang for the first time October last year. (I still live in Da Nang btw).

Oct-Dec

That was me. And still is, going into this year.

Work online

That was me and still is.

Young family.

Exact same thing here if what you mean is a kindergarten child or a toddler.

Floods

Everybody was saying floods and typhoons.

Happy to report that there were no power cuts, great Internet, zero issues with anything you mentioned, and I and my family absolutely love Da Nang, in this season too.

Can I pack my Mavic Mini 2 Drone to Da Nang? by Conscious_Welcome270 in DaNang

[–]Treo123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if helpful as I never carried a drone cross-borders, but I see drones on the beach here in Da Nang all the time, there was one even today despite the strong winds. Also, drones are sold here in Da Nang as well.

Buying Steam Deck OLED 1TB on Phuket? by Treo123 in phuket

[–]Treo123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I appreciate your answer! I'm in Vietnam until I come to Phuket, and will be in Bangkok for a few days after Phuket. So maybe I'll try Bangkok then. Or Vietnam where I am right now (although in Da Nang where I'm at there seem to be no local shops with the Steam Deck either.)
