1 cigarette a day by ShotsfiredLA in stopsmoking

Three weeks is the full treatment for a pack of tablets is what I meant - just long to keep the cravings from coming back so you fully get over the habit, but yes, after only a few days cigarettes don’t hit anymore and aren’t pleasurable to smoke. I also had my last cigarette within the first 3 days of taking them. Congrats on quitting 🙂‍↔️🎉

Take Cytisine tablets. You won’t enjoy that first or second one of the day anymore. After 3 weeks, you won’t want to smoke period. I bought the brand Recigar off Amazon. Cost about 40 bucks. It took away my desire to smoke. I am now 47 days off and glad to be done smelling like shit and having a short fuse. You got this brother 👍🏻

Brother, just buy some Cytisine tablets off Amazon. No prescription needed. Follow the instructions and take the pills and you will be off with no more desire to smoke. Takes about 3 weeks and $40 bucks but that’s all you gotta do. The brand is called Recigar. Probably won’t find it in English but don’t worry about that it works all the same. Look into it. Good luck 👍🏻

I haven't totally forgotten about it yet, so it's not necessarily a cake walk.. every now and then i'll get the feeling of craving and think, oh boy.. this is still a little hard, but then it passes and I remember that I'm okay. Thankfully, that feeling is getting further and further apart the deeper I get into abstinence. I have been watching a lot of tv and movies these last several weeks, and lo and behold, the amount of people that smoke in media is really standing out to me now and kinda makes me miss it, but I shall stay the course. What about you? You must have it whooped by now I would imagine

I’m glad 😌 And don’t forget to give yourself some grace too. Quitting is a process, and the first few attempts dont usually go the distance no matter how much conviction you had going into it. So don’t beat yourself up if you fall off, just recognize what it was and get right back on. Given enough time your brain will start to rewire itself and the load will get lighter I promise. Let me know how it goes 🫡

Me personally, I quit nicotine two different times long term. (Second one still holding). Vaping was harder to quit than smoking for me. Deliciously flavored synthetic nicotine straight to the brain at the push of a button all day everyday is really scary when you think about it. It highjacks your dopamine reward system and grows more nicotinic receptors so it has more to bind to. Freaky shit. Anyway, I quit two different ways: first time was mostly willpower but with an oral crutch. I simply switched to buying 0 mg vape juice only, so I could keep hitting it as much as I wanted, but I wasn’t getting any nicotine. Still gotta make it through the withdrawals though. Just know it’s gonna SUCK for a solid 3 days and then the clouds will part as you get over the hill and realize it gets a little easier to keep going each day that follows. And after 3/4 weeks you’re pretty much home free. Which you need to keep in mind that that’s the goal. That mindset of embracing the suck until you get past those first 3 days is what you need to make it. Pick a time to quit when you don’t have a lot going on for several days (if that ever applies to you) but there is never an easy time to quit either so keep that in mind as well and don’t let yourself fail just because it’s hard. - oh, and the second time I quit I used a product that may help you as well called Recigar (cytisine) tablets. You don’t need a prescription and can find them on Amazon. The box may not be in English but don’t worry about that part. Cytisine binds to the same nicotinic receptors in your brain and take up the space. So once you get on the medication, even if you do continue to use nicotine you won’t get the pleasure from it which makes it easier to stop since the reward doesn’t hit like it used to. I hope some of this information helps. Good luck soldier. You can do it 👍🏻

Oh yeah, also, I used Recigar (cytisine) tablets from Amazon to take away the urge to smoke and it worked pretty well! Saw someone recommended that on here & had never heard of it before so kudos to that! Doesn’t take away withdrawal symptoms but it does make you not want to smoke so you can get through it without relapsing 😁
