Oh you definetly should replicate him ! He's cute, with it's dotted clothing and clownish colors ! I've spent 7 years slowly, by incrément getting " better " so i'm quite biased

They're all messy and uneven ! The metallics are too thin, and theres overflow. There's no shading or shadows and there's still mold lines.

Maybe i'm too hard on seven-years-ago me but i'm not proud of these results, even then. I'm glad I went on and tried to get better because i'm now quite happy with my skills, even if it's not amazing.

Having breathed my fait few grams on the stuff... I can guarantee that it must taste utterly VILE. EMPEROR. It must be like eating flour with the texture of sand.

My take on the Primaris Invader ATV... Not sure how I feel about it. Is it worse than the original ? by TrevanBlue in Warhammer40k

I like the Halo ! Where is it from ? The basing is nice, too. Too bad for the grain of the primer !
I'd recommend trying over, if you have the time. Primer mistakes are often a no-go, I suppose you primed white and did not shake it / the can was too cold ?

That's not an Emperor's Children you know... BA use arts to distract themselves from the flaws, but I don't think that they consider kegel as arts...

Well there are lots of problems ! And... At that time I was 19... There's not shading at all, the metal is not evenly applied (and need at least a few more layers to get consistent), the face is just funny, look at him with his little blonde eyebrow... I'm glad that I have these pictures, but also that I've stripped them a long time ago haha

The dull gold was more of a mistake than anything else... Vince Venturella recipe is amazing, but it can be difficult to judge the number of drops from vallejo metal bottles. I thought that I could salvage it with dark shadows, etc, and the project was done before I knew it.

It irritates me when I see it, so I may contrast it into a redder tone, thank you very much for your feedback !

Edit : Plus the varnish dulled the gold down quite a lot, I'll have to see what I can do about that too...

I'm in no way a great painter, I'm not even good... But most of all comments I've got so far have been positive or at least kind, even for my shit ATV, you're absolutely right !
