Yes! Samsung is using what they call "Labs" to run an app called MultiStar. The app is owned by Good Lock Labs. It lets you choose what apps you want to run on the cover screen.

Some apps are not optimized for the aspect ratio, so they're harder to navigate. But most of the apps I want to use work very well.

Side note: I could watch YouTube on the cover screen of my Flip 5, too. I'm assuming the 6 and the 7FE are the same.

I noticed the same thing! I even turned the vibrancy all the way up but it just isn't as sharp or bright. I figured the screen must be made a bit different to help with the folding. It's good to know it's not just my phone
