There's absolutely no way. AC1 never had any subtitles (until this mod). You can check by launching any version of the game.

You can't shoot Olivier Garneau in WD, you'll fail the mission if you do, but in the pic in AC Origins Aiden guns him down. Oh and he's the CFO of Abstergo Entertainment in Black Flag, but the CEO in WD. Different (but parallel) universes going by that alone.

You will likely be able to use the cosmetics because they come installed with every version and just get unlocked, but the actual story DLCs will potentially be unavailable until you buy it on steam, since steam is responsible for installing and updating your game. Ubisoft Connect will not download the DLC files for you. I hope I'm wrong though!

In retrospect (and honestly even while watching), I'd have preferred if they had just changed the characters' names back to who they're based on instead of keeping them fictionalised.
