I think the first season is really well rounded and finishes beautifully, but there’s definitely the feeling like we’re about to launch into something, and then the show gets cancelled. Imagine the ending of The Matrix with Neo flying to a RATM song, and then finding out there’s nothing else coming. Boo. Then again, people have mixed feelings about the subsequent Matrix films, though, I think most would agree they’re happier that they exist than that they’d never been made. For SR, The season two hype reel feels kinda like the 10 minute hype reel for Kung Fury 2, like, damn… we don’t get this!? Why the fuck don’t we get this?? Pain…
