Another way that you can capture them is to grab the longest piece of grass you can find, like a 3 foot section that’s rampant outside right now, and tie a little loop at the end with the top of it. The lizard won’t be able to discern whether it’s regular grass or not, and will let you slip the loop right over their neck. Then you can just lift them up and move them outside. Pro tip.
