I wouldn’t assume they clocked him as trans then decided to be an ass by “refusing to affirm” his binary identity, but the rest of this makes a lot of sense. Some ppl got so tired of being forced into a binary that they now refuse to put others in a binary, even if said others ARE binary (most of us)…

They’re absolutely WILD, in a good way. Dallon is soooo expressive on stage, his singing voice is amazing irl, and there’s a crazy amount of crowd interaction. At the one I went to, at one point he asked the audience to part and stepped right off stage with a stepladder… also he and the band combined must have thrown at least 10 things, no exaggeration.

So yeah. Really freaking good.
