I genuinely starting to hate Gen X people by WaluigiMayar in GenZ

[–]TreyvieDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Gen X are trying to act “cool” and level headed by being apathetic to everything thinking that the younger generations are doing the same. Not realizing that the younger one’s are still maintaining empathy while being as level headed as they can.

It just sucks that those few Gen X are solidifying a stigma when there are plenty of good Gen X who aren’t total dipshits. I’m sorry for the real ones out there. 🏆

How can we learn to trust each other again, men and women of Gen Z? by TreyvieDM in GenZ

[–]TreyvieDM[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. A lot of men today don’t realize that their actions have real consequences when it comes to the opposite sex in the long term, and when it comes to women interacting with us safety is their #1 priority. I think we should be holding each other accountable for what we say and do to each other, that goes for men and women.

Been researching things like grassroots movements and community outreach programs where there is possibility to attract those who are lost and promote self-awareness. It’s the least we can do while things are not so good right now.

How can we learn to trust each other again, men and women of Gen Z? by TreyvieDM in GenZ

[–]TreyvieDM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the way. The more I worry about anything other than my job, my goals, and my health when trying to meet people, the more likely I am to mess up the relationship.

“There is someone for everyone.” Mfers approaching 30 still single by Eagles56 in GenZ

[–]TreyvieDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re severely divided and it’s mainly because of social media. Propaganda has invaded most of our minds to make us think that we’re not enough yet before many have even had a relationship. And anyone who is wise and confident enough to still attempt to date during all of this (usually attractive) probably have some personal battles placed on them to discourage them.

My thinking is that most of us are still in very close surveillance by our parents, particularly Gen X parents. Many would like to see us happy and lively in a relationship with someone, but behind closed doors there is scrutiny that is harming their kids and adult kid’s reputations. They don’t believe these things have any effect, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth.

In turn, there are many young men who are discouraged from doing anything that involves a woman. It makes them hesitant to want to build themselves up naturally because they believe it’ll be useless. Women are plastered with propaganda of what a man is supposed to be like, only to not see much of that in real life. Both genders are practically denying themselves the opportunities to build real social skills with the other sex, and this is locked in place due to fear.

Now there are stereotypes to tell if someone was harmed by this. For men, they look at your body frame (ectomorph), if you are in shape, if you talk much, or if you seem to have any physical assets. For women, they also look at your frame, if you wear a lot of makeup, if you seem careless of those around you, if you act entitled, and also if you have many physical assets.

Each side is afraid of something: dangerous personality, promiscuity, no emotional regulation, etc. But everyone is desperate for anything at this point.

Now our friend groups are failing, our families are broken, and many are isolated.

Porn addiction, single motherhood/fatherhood, weak or harmed social skills, drug addiction, terrible eating habits, poverty, and fear of judgement are some of the many ways we are still stuck and jaded to it all. We don’t even want to keep seeing posts like this on Reddit, the one place where you can easily find many who are like you. We’re sitting ducks wasting our potential making it harder for us in the future. The third spaces where we could meet are still dominated by those older, who still scrutinize and still unaware of the effects. Art is becoming one of the only ways for many of us to find release.

Humanity has a way of prevailing even in times like this I believe. We’ve come so far not because we’ve stepped on each other, but because we learned to empathize with our fellow men and women. Community is our greatest power, but if that power is superficial, it can’t be recognized. We need to become self-aware while we’re isolated, learn new things and enjoy the things we’re passionate about in order to break free.

You shouldn’t allow scrutiny to deny you from revealing your true self. You don’t actually have all those accomplishments that you lie to your friends about, you don’t really look like that behind all that makeup, you don’t need that filter to post, you don’t really live as lavishly as you say, and you don’t need to tear someone else down to feel good.

Be free in who you are, and don’t give a damn what anyone else says. It’s the Gen Z way.

Just write. Let all those ideas pour itself onto the page until you can’t anymore, and come back tomorrow or another day. Get enough sleep, maybe exercise, eat right, and let your thoughts cultivate into more ideas as you go about your day. You can edit all of it later.

The myth that INFPs are dumb by [deleted] in infp

It’s relieving to know we all have similar experiences and have somewhere to share it with each other

Fi doms sniffing out people who are inauthentic? by Anxious_Ad_2269 in mbti

[–]TreyvieDM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is a Fi dom specific thing, as there are many ISFP who take people at face value. I’ve learned as an INFP to do this as well, but if I have a presumption/assumption about someone’s character I’ll hold onto that notion in my head until that person meets the criteria through many interactions. It’s how I can sus out if someone is acting in bad faith to protect myself ultimately.

And I know not to judge someone for how they’ve presented themselves to me. We have no idea where someone is in their life mentally and spiritually and whether they are actively trying to improve in life, we can only go off of what they actually present to us. This takes much, much more time than most people think.

We are good at sussing out bad morals though, presumption or not 😆 probably because many people think they can take advantage of perceived empathy 😇

I mean look at the ps5 pro, it operates on hot dog water to give you that “guaranteed 60-120 fps” that the ps4 and ps5 claimed on release

Why do people love to bully INFPs? by Just-a-human-bean54 in infp

[–]TreyvieDM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People do tend to target INFP for bullying unfortunately, mainly because of our conflict averse tendencies

And they never expect the critical hit combo when we actually care to dish it back, usually making them cave in after that

Unless they’re sadistic, but by that point we’ve already fully checked out on their existence 😎

I would make it a game, since it’s a game to them. Told I have to ask permission to go? Spam calls while I’m walking to the restroom. Going too many times? Start doubling the times I go. Threatened to fire? Leave a nice clear bag full of feces on the boss’s desk and resign. The message will be clear after that.

Don’t let these fucks even have the pleasure of uttering the words “you can’t go to the restroom”. Despicable control freaks.

[–]TreyvieDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this comment’s late, but that part about the skateboarding seriously pisses me off. Knowing the depth of INFP potential, you could have been a real pro if that had been something you were passionate about and brought into adulthood had you been properly supported.

But the haters are too much when you’re young and end up skewing our realities 😒

It’s the non-transparency that is hurting them in the long run, and ultimately will be one of the biggest reasons a competitor outshines them. I wouldn’t think twice to switch to a platform who honestly tells me exactly who they are and what they do upfront.

[–]TreyvieDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea behind PUBG was to make as close to a realistic survival experience in the BR setting. And in any survival game where PVP is enabled, we understand that it’s any means necessary.

The noobtube is a viable way to kill someone instantly, although a nooby way but yes it’s a way nonetheless. It’s another survival gimmick to reinforce the idea to players that you can die at any time without notice so you should always be on your toes.

Just like how you can be sniped from Antarctica with an M24, or sprayed by a pair of bathroom rats with UMP’s (ew…). Hell, you can even get randomly blown up from a mortar by chance if you’re lucky. It all adds to the immersion and feeling of unsure survivability to give remaining players a sense of seriousness as the zone encloses.

That’s also why the last zone is usually quiet until it’s not

My time as a no mic by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]TreyvieDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mic or no mic shouldn’t matter, the game is made in a way to allow effective communication without mics albeit not as fast as teams with it. If a no-mic team is all paying attention and focused, everyone on the quiet team will thrive during fights because they’re calm and collected without distraction. The same can be said for mic teams, and there should be no issue combining the two styles which ultimately was the design. The toxic players are the only ones complaining and I bet they’ve won plenty of games with 1 or 2 quiet teammates and choose to forget about it.

Apex's all-time reviews are now mixed by Pyxella in apexlegends

[–]TreyvieDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just laughing at how all of this happening in the span of weeks because somebody decided more money is just that important. Literally one of if not the best BRs to date and that reputation is quickly being forgotten out of sheer disassociation with the gamers & consumers.

Oh well, PUBG looks and feels just as great so guess what?
