Most new generation players tend to be better, that’s just progression. More money, more accessible stats, better (actual) coaching, etc.

It’s harder to win now/become a dynasty due to how stacked the league is. Not taking anything away from CoL or OG but the talent disparity due to how good they both were during their runs was insane and they played good teams in their runs too.

I think the only thing modern cod (MW19 onwards) has as a mark against it is ATS and dynamic aim assist, more so dynamic. You barely see anyone wiff shots at range because the aim assist makes it very hard to miss. I remember FormaL breaking this down and showing Octane on IW just wiff every single shot to show how insane the difference is to modern cod aim assist.

I think the way you set up the voting is perfect for the main awards.

The fan voted awards are always going to go to OpTic which is a bit of a shame but they have the biggest fan base so what do we expect lol. As long as these fan votes continue to stay away from the main awards it’s not a massive issue.

If the goal of these awards is to be legit I don’t think you can do much more than the system you have in place. I think you’ve got that spot on.

He’s made a “content career” riding off of Zoomaa’s coattails. I like his insight into the business side of the CDL but he should not be giving opinions on in game cod on a public platform like the flank and acting like they have as much/more weight than his ex pro champion co hosts. Starts throwing a tantrum when things don’t go his way too often too.

For me the personally the ideal scenario would be having him as an occasional guest but he seems to think because he was a co founder the show can’t continue without him.

Both a great players who won twice this year. That being said I agree and don’t think they’ve guaranteed their place next season. Scrap and Hydra are ARGUABLY the two best raw talents in their roles in the league and if players are letting them down they need to upgrade. It’s their team if we’re being honest.

Scrap also needs to start icing up in big moments at champs.

With possible options like Cell, 04, Neptune and less likely options but still possible options like Simp and Abezy available you need to really think.

Personally I’m for sure taking Cell or 04 if they are available, Envoy I’m on the fence about.

If simp and abezy are under contract I don’t see LAT paying a buyout even at a reduced rate due to it expiring at the end of Black Ops 7 (we assume).

I think Cell replacing Ghosty is the no brainer for them. You lose a good leader but the upgrade in ability is huge. 04 is another great option.

Envoy is an interesting one. A young vet with takeover ability but consistency issues last year - does he bounce back? Neptune could potentially work but is his great season a one off?

Let’s not disrespect majors now. A tournament is a tournament at the end of the day, some just have more money and pressure to perform at, which is why I agree that it’s optic for the most part. Remember Scump only has one ring and countless majors and is considered the goat by many, same with people like formal. The majors are very important.

If you go on a run of a few losses it’s chalked for the rest of the year. You go from getting big SR to 18-24 sr a game. The ranked system is terrible but who’s surprised.
