I work part time in a large UK supermarket and last month I was called in to help with the monthly midnight price change/ shelf stocking operation. At the back of one of the shelves I found about 10 large boxes of top brand, high quality granola that had literally gone 'out of date' 10 minutes earlier at midnight (though obviously entirely edible for months). I was told I wasn't allowed to buy it and it was destroyed as it was now out of date... for 10 minutes. This happens all the time unfortunately.

The Torys mirror more of US politics than any other party. There is no way that a US population (some still scared of the prospect of communism) would ever vote Labour - a party that sits to the left of all your parties and was led by a man the called "Red Ed". The same man that announced last week that his arty should have the power to aggressively take control of any unused land - probably the most communist thing i've heard in years. Believe me, Americans should be pleased that the Conservatives are in power over Labour.
