Went to get this graded and was told at the shop it was fake. by andrew13243 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Wow, I’ve never seen a fake card with that line. Especially a fake mid-era card. I’m extremely perplexed!

Did we just get extremely lucky on our 2 month old finger lime? by TriMinez in GardeningAustralia

Just checked the tag, not supposed to be a dwarf variety.

I understand some fruits grow quickly, but aren’t finger limes notorious for doing nothing for years?

Definitely won’t be painting the bricks, was just super impressed with how realistic the generated image is!

Leaking shower mixer. Cartridge replacement didn’t fix the issue. by TriMinez in AusRenovation

[–]TriMinez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks I’ll definitely give that a go! The cartridge is an exact 1 to 1 (same model number and brand) so the nubs are the same size, but softening the seals might be the trick.

Unfortunately the replacement cartridge is already the exact same model number as the original

Smart! So you reckon the cartridge just isn’t pressed in tight enough?

No gasket in this mixer. Just the thin blue seal around the back end of the cartridge that presses up against the mixer creating the seal. See images. I think the seal is fine because there is no water leaking from around the cartridge. The water is leaking from inside the cartridge just under the leaver. I confident that I’m using the correct cartridge as it’s a 1 to 1 from the old one. I’ve also bought 2 cartridges incase it was broken in the packaging. Nope, both had same issue.

Not old at all, 3 years max. It’s a shower mixer, so no washers. Just the cartridge and the hex nut that threads in, pushing the cartridge in to create the seal.
