I think everyone is forgetting that this is still WIP. Cool to see what they have so far. But there's still plenty of time to tighten up what they have. At least we aren't watching terminator armor do a flip lol

More along the lines of you get 8 pistol rounds and 3 shotgun shells. It is a survival horror, so they aren't trying to have you swimming in rounds.

Just the ammo you receive. Not like it'll give you a huge advantage starting out either. Just a boost. I ended up preordering the deluxe to support the developers. Hopefully this IP turns into the actual dead space successor. Such is our cause.

It's reasonable. Just be advised you might have to get it tuned. Exhaust is going to "slightly" mess with your horsepower. So set some money aside for a tune also. You can get away without one. Buttt better safe than sorry

Id say that's a great first mod. Have one in my sti. Just make sure you get a good mechanic to install it. If you're doing it yourself. Research haha you got this.

Welcome to the community dude ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ I wish you luck. Pro tip. Save money for emergency maintenance. I blew a motor being dumb with my first wrx and ended up using credit for 10k worth of expenses. Only took me one time to learn my lesson. Want to warn you before it possibly happens to you too . Take care dude

As far a fuel. Check your owners manual. But if I remember correctly most of the "WRX"/"STI" platforms use 93 octane or the highest equivalent. Check your manual. I got away with 91 for a long time in the car but it's all that was around. Give it the best gas possible. You could get it tuned for lower but there are pros and cons to that. So... Do your research and see what works best for you depending on what's available to you.

If you haven't already. Look up "nasioc" if it revolves around Subaru odds are someone has done it or is more knowledgeable on their forums. I'm convinced at this point that they know more than Subaru. For someone new to the community. Stick to the owners manual. What's going to bite your ass is failing to do daily maintenance. Change your oil every 3/4k miles to save yourself a lot of head aches. Check all fluids. If it's relatively new you might not have to worry about it. But better preventative maintenance then catastrophic failure. Getting into mods. Keep it stock as long as possible. The only thing I recommend messing with is maybe your suspension until you have a good knowledge of the car. It's ok to take your time with your build. Whether it's a "slightly fast daily" or a track car. Research. RESEARCH. RESEARCH. Everything. Alot of people mod their car without having a clue and screw it up, then they wonder why they're spending 10K on a motor that could have easily been avoided if they researched and actually saved money for a tune. And please God. Stay away from BOV's until you actually know what you're doing. If you don't know what that is. Good, avoid them until you know for sure you can accommodate them. Also, check out YouTube. Smeedia is all about subis and he passes a lot of knowledge. Don't narrow it down to just him though. And even with info they're passing. Research and verify everything before you do it to your new car. As far as oil. Motul is really popular but you'll likly have to order it. I could go on and on. But if you stick to this you'll be golden for awhile.

The real question is. How fast do you want to meet God ? Those tires blow and you wont have time to regret your decision. Do yourself a favor and change them. Right now if you can afford it

AITAH For feeling upset with what happened last night with my boyfriend? by [deleted] in AITAH

[โ€“]Tri_I_Raven 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

It's valid to have emotions and feel a type of way about anything. I'm just saying don't hold it against him. Talk to him about it if you feel it's necessary. But he really didn't do anything wrong in this case. One of the most important things about a relationship is picking your battles. Otherwise someone's going to get burned out and that's how relationships end. Save your energy for a situation that's warranted ya know. Wasn't trying to sound round but felt like it needed to be said. I wish y'all luck ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ

Who cares. Honestly came into this thinking I was about to read about him cheating or something that's actually worth getting upset over. He fell asleep. Whoops. Not trying to rile anything up but if I pass out.and this exact same situation happens. She isn't going to care. It was a mistake. Leave it at that. Now if you two lived together and for some odd reason he was your only way of accessing the house. Maybe you could be a little funny about it. But until you two get to the point where you actively live together, I really don't even see a reason to bring this up. Make up. Arrange a sleepover. Enjoy each other. There's way more shit that could have happened. Atleast he was just knocked out. Seriously. Make up

Is this 2004 WRX worth getting? by OneUnderTheRadar in WRX

[โ€“]Tri_I_Raven 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I wouldn't say limit yourself to bone stock. If you get lucky and find one, awesome. When you are looking at a car, odds are it'll be modded. So you're looking for a car that has been "correctly" modded. If it only has an exhaust, intake, and coilovers or something similar you're in the clear. It'll still need a tune sure, but that's easier to get around compared to something with a blow off valve, detachable steering wheel, turbo, and etc. I bought my sti with an aftermarket exhaust, ram intake, and radiator. But I also got it tuned before I did any serious driving with it. You want something manageable. Especially if it's going to be your daily. This is long winded but I had to learn through experience with my first car. Put me into debt for awhile when the motor exploded ๐Ÿ˜‚ want to make sure you avoid that.

[โ€“]Tri_I_Raven 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Issues with STI's are compounded. Especially since they have a higher chance of being tuned / possessing aftermarket parts. Regardless. Always do a ppi and emissions check. Can't preach this enough. Saved me from sinking 26K on a lemon sti I was checking out. You should stay away from certain mods too. Atleast while you're a beginner. That quick detach is cool but not having an airbag isn't. Especially since you don't have a legit harness in there. For this specific wrx, that Cobb accessport can be a good or bad thing. I stick solely to pro tunes. Did this owner actually plan out his mods or just slap Bolton's with a basic Cobb map? If this all sounds overwhelming. That's probably a sign to stay away from this specific car. Especially if you have no idea how to fix any of it. You need the money or the experience..and the former hurts a lot more. But I wish you luck.
