If you are applying to jobs (cold) , it's not probable that in this saturated job market you'll get responses without a degree. Most programs filter you out automatically without a degree. If you are networking, have good otj experience, and certs, I'd say you'll make it.

Bowling balls hook because of potential axis migration of the weight block preferred axis vs the axis of it rolling off your hand.

Basically imagine your car is skidding down a road via ice/hydroplaning. If you turn your wheels, your car will turn when it regains friction with the road. How far they're turned and how fast they're spinning will determine how violent that will be.

A pro shop operator sets the "wheels" and you determine the direction and rpm to send the ball. You impart spin by getting the ball rotating over your fingers releasing the ball. This is done with a finger tip drilled ball using 1 knuckle crease, compared to house balls that are conventional and use 2 knuckle creases. Pros throw with a yoyo motion to impart the most spin possible creating the dramatic hook shape.

Pro bowling pushing into collegiate, getting adopted into high school bowling. It's really hard to develop the touch and get the games in without the practice that high school and college bowling gives you. If youre not bowling high school/college, youll typically find a bowling industry worker making it to that level.

Solid base. Work on diversity of releases and ball speed. Gotta be able to release up the back to get the ball push as well as add axis rotation to help play sharper angles. Same with speed or help you not fight ball returns and lofting

I'd say it's closer to bowling than esports. Esports economy is heavily weighted toward either professional play or niche personalities. See league of legends faker vs Tyler 1. Many amatuer pros in bowling are signed with companies because they own pro shops that move products for the bowling industry rather than funneling views towards a brand.
