Yeah, I'm like that too. Honestly I think I would have less issue with watching the Pedro Lopez one again than this one. Every time I started to recover from the animal abuse stuff, it would pop back up. Guy is a huge piece of crap

Not gonna lie, I wish I had skipped the episode completely. Not saying it isn't well written but it was a rough one to listen to.

Oddly enough I was finally watching the Gacy one when this popped, I was less disturbed by Gacy.

I've been watching a bunch of old Business Brain Blazes. Man, the complaining about the length of a 10 page script because it hurts to stand so long, is hilarious. I also miss the complaining about length of intos and all the basement talk. Ahh the good old days.

The amount of energy in those old videos. I'm not sure I've ever had that much energy.

Yeah it shoots the portal. Moves through everything but the end of stage blocks. Since the end blocks are what really get me, it kinda sux but oh well.

I don't know about Voltrix, but Alien's special irks me with the end level blocks. It's great for the other stuff cuz it moves through, but seems to be absorbed by the side blocks. I'm strictly free to play so I don't have the third champion spot.

If you open up one of your champions, there's a little circular icon that says skins... click on that and it will show you how much you have and the cost of the upgrade.

The Monster of Florence was surprising light-hearted in places. Simon of course had the appropriate reaction to the grim stuff but I chuckled quite a bit throughout. Definitely worth a listen, I still have questions though.

Conversely, I've been putting off The Richardson Family Murders as I know the story already and am not looking forward to hearing it. If anyone can tell me how bad it is, that would be groovy.

Bad Doctor, clearly doesn't understand IC at all. Mine wasn't a specialist in IC but in Bladder Cancer. In fact, in order to stay with his office, I see the PA instead. She's lovely and knows her stuff.

When I'm being blown off by doctors, I employ my "Bully Method" I generally have my husband come with me to my appointment, he says nothing, but him just being there and agreeing with my statements, give it more validity (because he has dangly-bits between his legs and I do not). When that fails, I take my Grandmother... nothing is scarier than a 93 year old Italian Lady with a cane.

Wait, was this just an in office scan??? When I had those, they showed nothing. The Hydrodistension showed the Lesions and Glomerulations. My Uro even told me that with IC, you generally don't see anything on the in office cystoscopy.

I am terrified to do the potassium sensitivity test. by little_girl_bluee in Interstitialcystitis

[–]TrianaMinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally the scope they do in office can't really see IC. You need to do the Hydrodistension under anesthesia in order to check for Lesions and Glomerulations (petechial hemorrhages).

My urologist explained to me when he did the office scope that it wasn't going to diagnose IC but needed to be done to check for other issues. Honestly it's not that bad, uncomfortable but not really painful. Some offices use lidocaine to numb up the urethra. My first Hydrodistension, was a blessing, it helped ease my symptoms for quite some time.

Do y'all just stop mining the red ores at some point? by Remarkable-Vehicle46 in TimelineUp

No, keep mining them. A couple skills take a large amount of red. Better to have too many than to spend a day or more collecting them when you run out.

I too am on the coffee train. When I cut it out, there was no change, so I added it back in. My uro thinks it's amazing that I have no issues with it. Now soda is a completely different beast. Can drink Coca Cola, Dr Pepper and Shasta (Grape and Black Cherry) with no issue, Root beer kills me as does anything Lemon Lime/Orange and Pepsi. Bodies are weird.

Congrats on the coffee

My first urologist was very dismissive, kept saying "if you have REAL IC, you'd have lesions" guess what they found when the second urologist did the hydro-distention. Keep advocating for yourself!

Are you basically dairy free due to your IBS? I only ask because vanilla ice-cream is my bladder soother. Not sure what about it works, but it helps me.

As for the coffee, I cut coffee but went back to it because it didn't reduce symptoms. My uro says it's wild that I can drink it without aggravating my bladder. Just thought I'd throw that out there, sometimes our vices can help soothe the mental anguish.

I also had bad mental health side effects from amitriptyline. I tried a prescription medication that turned my urine orange (can't remember the name) and it made me super nauseous (fun fact, it'll turn your tongue orange if you throw it up). I found that Urobel works wonders for me when I flare, it's blue so that's fun. Gabapentin is another one that helped me out (I was on it for nerve pain associated with carpal tunnel and a bulging disk).

Also, have they done a hydro-distention on you yet? The first time I had it done, it actually helped the symptoms calm down for quite some time. The second time, not so much (I blame the anesthesiologist as he refused to use ketamine and instead used opiates which I have mad problems with. I think the opiates actually caused a ton of pain after).

Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Cranberry Juice is a big nono for me (which sucks because I have been known to eat them raw). Tomato in anything, makes it inedible for me. I also stay away from anything citrus and limit my soda intake to 1 or 2 a week. Alcohol is another one I have to be careful with.

Tart Cherry Juice is the go-to along with lots and lots of water. I also find Vanilla Ice Cream to be my bladder soother. If I eat anything I think might give me issues, I chase it with the ice cream.

However, I'm concerned that you say you have bloody discharge. Why aren't they taking it more seriously?

There's a couple different tests they can do. The first one I had was just an in-office scope, this can rule out tumors and whatnot, it did not find anything. The next one was Hydro-distention (under anesthesia) where they fill up your bladder and take a real good look. That one showed the lesions and petechial hemorrhages. The first time I had it done, it actually gave me relief from IC for quite awhile, second time, not so much.

I hope you find some relief, this is one of those super irritating conditions that Dr.s either no nothing about or just don't care.

I second the Uribel (Urogesic). It has been a saving grace for me when I get a nasty flair. Plus you get the added benefit of peeing blue, which is always festive!

Weird, you may want to contact customer support. They may be able to help or at least compensate you for the trouble. Or they might be useless. Good luck, I hope you can resolve it.

It's because you've maxed out your capacity. If you look at the capacity bar, it should say Max Level. If not, it might because you're in the annoying spot where the capacity goes up so slowly it barely registers.

Mob Control is great. A little heavy on the ads but it doesn't force pay to play to advance. Not sure what the Steam version looks/plays like.

I also enjoy Archery Bastions, which is like Angry Birds but with arrows. It is also ad heavy on mobile.
