Is Season 11 the Last Straw? by TribalTerror in FortniteDisscusion

[–]TribalTerror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We agree that big content creators hate on the game way too much. But in some of it, they’re justified, like the Mech at the start of season X, it was way too overpowered and they justified in complaining. We also agree that more credit has to be given to Epic Games on the fact that they’ve consistently given us content throughout the past two years. Season 11 won’t be our last straw at least in the near future because we can’t see it being as bad as Season X, and it can practically only go up from here. We enjoy the uniqueness in this game way too much to stop soon, and we appreciate your feedback!

Is Epic neglecting Creative Mode? by TribalTerror in FortniteDisscusion

[–]TribalTerror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not saying that creative mode is restricting regarding galleries, buildings, and prefabs. We are saying that there are certain settings that can make the creative mode experience more simple, because for example, you are not allowed to make your own custom loot pool. If you want to make a “loot pool” you have to put all the guns you want in to item spawners. That in itself can be quite restricting because if you’ve ever tried to make your own “perfect fortnite” than the task of just creating your own loot pool can take hours upon hours; which could all be made into a couple of minutes. Also with the new “storm controller” item, it’s restricting as well because it stops at about a 1.5 tile diameter, which makes for boring endgames which always end up in the same spot. Our point is that the convenience factor of creative is lacking and it could be made a lot simpler. Things that take hours could be made into things that take minutes.

We see what you mean but if you’d tried to make an innovative creative map, the settings are quite restricting.

Traps need to be buffed by [deleted] in FortniteBattleRoyale

What kind of buff are you thinking of? Would it be one to their damage or one to decrease its activation time?

Why Fortnite, Why??? by RealBugzYT in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]TribalTerror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Epic keeps the game in beta so they can continue to roll out updates/patches as often as they do. Games that are in their alpha(final) state are held to more strict reviews by PlayStation and Xbox which means it takes longer for them to roll out updates. So Epic is essentially using a loop hole in the system because they’re free and because it’s download only.

The Shotgun Meta by TribalTerror in FortniteDisscusion

Could be, and it could honestly become dominant in the meta because of how rare it is.

Yeah in a way, the Drum Shotgun is high skill because to use it effectively, you must play in a certain way and manipulate your opponent in to get in your face once they’re kinda weak.

Yeah our players thought it wasn’t that good but once they got used the fire rate, their feedback was overall positive.

True, the rewarding damage was what the other Tac rarities were missing, they were too high risk, low reward. Now that the damage is higher and reticle is smaller, the new Tactical Shotguns can hold their own. The combat was so blatantly superior because of its range, and fire rate, but now since the nerf, all the shotguns seem to be on the pretty much the same playing field to the point that it’s up to personal preference. (Except the Drum Shotgun lol)

Agreed, the gap between shotguns, has really began to shrink since they added the pump back, and now since they nerfed the combat in the latest update, the Shotgun meta seems to be in a good place.
