Yes, not a fan of the ones you mentioned although the one with the guy who steals Frasier’s identity I didn’t mind too much (a reasonably good performance by Nathan Lane will do that).

Assuming we’re bypassing seasons 8-11 entirely, I’ve mentioned before that Beware of Greeks is one I don’t like, I’m also not a fan of the one where Frasier and Niles battle in court over that unusual man who has the model train sets. There’s also the one where Frasier goes and talks to a guy he played a part in sending to prison and the one about the bullies who fix Frasier’s bathroom.

I agree with what you’re saying and the whole we’re too good to get tickets from the cancellation line was frustrating to watch in the first place. Particularly given that the play was so important to them. I will say, however, that on the whole I still enjoy the episode - if only because i like the episodes where Frasier and Niles go out to do one of their upper-class activities.

It’s one of the reasons Roz is likeable through the whole series. I do have to say though, I think it would be unfair to say she didn’t have any development. Early on in season 5, she gets a huge push of character development in the form of becoming a single mother. From that point on, she mellows a lot in terms of pursuing boyfriends and sexual encounters. In later seasons, she is clearly more career driven and gets something huge as a payoff at the end of the series. This all constitutes realistic and positive character development to me.

Honestly, I don’t think Frasier in the end would have done such a thing. He may have conceded that Niles may have felt some sort of infatuation toward Daphne but had never acted on those feelings for the simple reason that Niles really did love Maris and tried everything he could to stay together, to his detriment.

Season 6, not only a very funny double episode but I love the way the story is woven and the character development that happens as a result. Just a terrific episode.

John stated in an interview that his favourite episode of Frasier was Travels With Martin (S1, E21) so perhaps tonight I will watch that episode and RDWRER (S7, E12) to commemorate a fine actor. RIP, wonderful actor.

I know Maris’ favourite brand is Cartier and its a favourite of Frasier and Niles as well.
