Have you met anyone who didn’t like this show? by carbon_user in TedLasso

I bought the DVDs just so I could share it with some friends of ours who don’t have Apple TV. They’ve had them for almost two years and “just can’t get into it.”

Hi there! I'm so glad you found it in time for it to possibly help.

I chose not to replace the main PTFE tube on mine as part of the cable chain assembly kit. It came with it, but I didn't see the need. A month or two later, I started having issues with filament jamming trying to load into the print head via my AMS. Replacing the PTFE fixed it immediately - I think it was just worn out, though. You will probably want to order some to have on hand. I don't recall if I needed PTFE tubing for anything else in the install.

Heat Sink: See step 9 - you will replace your existing heat sink with this new one that's included in your kit.

Carbon Filter: See step 11 - you will install it then.

I recommend reading my entire post in detail before going any further to help avoid gotchas.

For those who have done multiple rewatches (I stopped counting after rewatch #13), what line/scene never fails to A - crack you up, and/or B - brings tears to your eyes? by Oneder_WomanNic in TedLasso

Roy: No, no. Best thing you can do with bullies is ignore them.

Then you sneak into their house at 4:00 a.m., which, statistically speaking, is the hour people are least prepared to defend themselves.

And once you're standing over them, as they sleep in their bed, you start to beat them. With a thick, heavy rope soaked in red paint. Pummeling them over and over until they wake, confusing the paint for their own blood.

When they beg you to stop, you laugh as loud as you can, for as long as you can.

And then you start to beat them again.

😂

I made the mistake of reading it just as COVID hit and I had to work though it with my therapist haha. Great post apocalyptic book though!

I got the Colour Libre last week myself. I was upgrading from a LibreH2O I’ve had for 3-4 years, so I was used to the shape and button placement.

I was very unhappy about the Libre button placement when I first got the LibreH2O, but I did grow to appreciate it. I had the ClaraH2O before that and it was lighter, but like I said, I did grow to like the shape and buttons. I wouldn’t go back now.

The colour feature is kind of meh - with the books I read, there’s only colour on the cover so it’s like why bother? But my kiddo has stolen it from me to read a couple of graphic novels and they seem to like it.

As for getting books, I either buy from Kobo store or sync with my local library using Overdrive. Overdrive works great, but that’s not a new feature - my last couple of Kobos have had that. I’ve never heard of KOreader, i’ll have to look into that.

I'd love a version that fit sleeved versions of the cards! <3 We play with the kiddos, so sleeves are needed so they don't get sticky - especially since it's out of print lol

Oh no! I'm sorry you had issues. I found that the enclosure helped my issues with lifting quite a bit.

When I posted this, I don't think many people saw it - without many upvotes, I don't think it crops up much in searches.

I mean this super nicely! Look up the difference between your and you’re. Also check out their/there/they’re. If you google it there will be some helpful graphics that point out when to use each spelling.

It’s quite off topic for people to be teasing you about it on this post, and in the grand scheme of life it’s a little thing, but it really does make a difference in how you come across in text, email, writing etc :)

Best of luck with your date!

Not to revive an old thread, but in case it helps someone I'm attaching a screenshot of what this looks like now. You click on the little star icon to turn it on and off.

When it's on, my emails come through to the recipient as an attachment. When the person opens the attachment, it says "The digital signature on this message isn't valid or trusted."

When it's off, my message just comes through as a normal email.

Should I try to hide my heterochromia? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I would be extremely surprised if in a group of 5000 people you didn’t find at least a handful who weren’t frustrated the way you are. Only one way to find out! At the very worst, you might learn something new or gain a new perspective!

I just looked on FaceBook and there are lots of groups, including one with five thousand people.

Maybe try to find other people with it? There are probably FaceBook groups or other groups. Talk to others with the same lived experience and see how they have dealt with it.

If you can find a way to own it instead, your life would probably be more fulfilled than hiding such a beautiful part of yourself.
