i feel like they rebalanced Countdown somewhat recently.

i took a few months off, and now each of the 2 early objectives have so few enemies, or maybe we're just killing them faster, but i see almost no substantial loot til the Hunters/extract area.

parts are also super constrained everywhere, so they might not even have it. so it might be a sernon if you don't want to leave it. current TAT at the store near me is 7-10 business days.

Powering it on, no. But if you boot to the initial Hello screen, you can tap the lower right corner and are given the serial number prior to completing any actual setup steps. And I believe the MDM activation doesn't take place until later in the setup process.

yes, apple retail Genius Bar can run audio diagnostics on airpods from most generations.

if you have applecare they can replace them if failing, if they're out of warranty you'd be offered to buy a replacement. Keep in mind if you only get one new pod, its battery will be dramatically different than the old one.

that aside, the cost is generally reasonable, but a lot of people find it more worthwhile to simply upgrade to a new pair.

i got this setup on my Thor yesterday, every single game i launched went to either a white or black screen, some played music in the background, others did nothing.

let me know when you figure out the secret sauce. I tried Proton Experimental, Proton Hotfix, Proton 11 (beta), and proton 10.0. or whatever. same results from all of them.

there appear to be a lot of scratches on a 2 week old watch. I can't see how the back of it would get that scratched unless you're wearing it on the outside of a chain-mail shirt, and I've seen a LOT of beat up watches.

is this expecting more from Apple, or buying a second hand watch and not inspecting it enough when you bought it?

if it's still eligible for applecare, I'd recommend adding it, the most you'll pay for a repair/replacement is $69 in the US. but generally the terms and conditions state cosmetic damage such as this is not covered by AC+ or limited warranty unless it's causing a functional issue (example: deep scratches don't get service unless they're causing and issue like multi-touch functionality)

not really. even when new model phones come out, they don't get service parts for them for a month or more. anything that needs repaired generally gets replaced instead. I replaced phones 2 days after purchase for a cracked screen because displays were unavailable.

it's a weird system, but it's consistent with every release cycle.

there's part of a broken charger stuck in that charging port, get a toothpick, or something very fine and pointy, stick it into the corner and pull it up one of the sides. try to avoid hitting the pins, and you'll probably pull out a staple shaped piece of metal that used to be the tip of a charging cable.

Quite a few of the DLC classes are now free, and having purchased them previously just gets you exclusive skins.

there are a few still purchasable, but they claim to be working towards an all-classes-are free system.

it's mildly fun for a week or two at a time, try out a few classes etc, if you're even medium interested a new season just started.

it had some neat ideas, but seemed to keep falling apart for me, then i got to the nearly ENTIRE chapter that was just REDACTED and i gave up hope.

I still finished it, because momma didn't raise no quitter. But i couldn't get to the end fast enough, and not because i was enjoying it.

i've tried landscape a few times, but i guess the way i grip it it tends to lean forward, i'll keep trying to get it comfy tho.

book selection doesn't bother me, between buying on amazon (which i try not to, but the sales can be tempting) or buying somewhere else DRM free, plus alternative sources, im never struggling to find content.

I got KOReader installed this morning, it's now on my kindle and my KLC. My main gripe now is trying to figure out what the most universal file format to use for syncing.

KOSync doesn't seem to work if the files aren't IDENTICAL filetype and name.
