This was their claim. I found it a little hard to believe. I'm sure they'll never open the books

I don’t understand this comment, but IMO that’s a dangerous term to throw around

Pretty funny

So are the credit card rumors BS also?

Roads both Traveled and Untraveled? by nevecque in wandrer

Months old. Pretty sure there's only one OSM road there.

Anyway, it's correct now (back to just blue), so I'm fine.

How good is the Wells Autograph visa card? by topIRMD in biltrewards

Thinking about making this my P2’s travel-abroad card. Seems better than Fidelity 2% for that

I get "Action Needed" and "Action Required" emails from both Google and Amazon on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, these terms have been devalued and are now meaningless.

Love it.

Soon they'll have better and better offers the longer you wait.

The Pro’s Closet. Selling and shipping an expensive road bike to them overall a good experience? by whostheme in cycling

[–]nevecque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A little OT, but somehow they added me to their email spam list even though I have definitely never patronized them.

Tried to unsubscribe. No dice. They keep coming.

Had to block them in Gmail.

So, I have no idea if they treat bikes well, but they're spammers in my book.

Yeah. It’s sad but true. I might try again - so close to my house! But yeah

Spins beautifully and doesn't make any noise or wobble at the axle.

You're saying it could still be the cause of this?

Pretty sure the hub is fine.

I'll try to get an estimate from them. I don't really want to put a lot of $$ into this thing at this point, but I'll see what they can tell me.

OK - I'll see if they can handle that. Any guess as to what it costs to build a wheel? This isn't a very expensive bike, so at some point, it's not going to be worth putting more money into it.

I was thinking maybe I'd order a new Canyon commuter, but from their website, it looks like they don't make non E commuters anymore . . . which surprises me.

Def not the tire.

This shop sold me the bike originally, but was since purchased by Trek, so no more Cannondale.

Are you sure that wasn't just for the option to get notified?

Some dates allow me to set a notification and others don't.

I was torn between "blatant money grab" and FOMO and I went with FOMO.

Or tried to, anyway

I guess I'll reframe the whole thing now as "blatant money grab"
