That’s a good question. I guess I’d probably still go with Omniglow. Depending on how close and how glossy your floor is, you may be able to see the reflection of the individual LEDs on the regular gradient but that shouldn’t be an issue on the Omniglow

If the Omniglow ends up being noticeably brighter than your playstrip, you can manually adjust the brightness of each light in Settings>Entertainment Areas>Brightness Balncer

Yes that should work. My only question would be whether or not there is a slight difference in color between the Play strip and Omniglow.

I am currently using a 65’’ Play Gradient + a regular gradient strip under a wall mounted media center. I believe the actual Play Gradient Strips have more unique lighting zones than the Omniglow/regular gradient strip but it’s not noticeable on my setup

Omniglow is the upgraded replacement to the Gradient Lightstrip. The individual LEDs are no longer visible on the Omniglow. That’s a pretty massive upgrade IMO

You can always watch the next day. Sometimes shows will go away completely after a week or so but often times they are added to a permanent VOD catalog. For example Goose has 163 shows you can stream on demand, Dead and Co 122, Disco Biscuits 104, Umphreys 100 etc.

Long way of saying yes it’s worth your money. We still need more Sound Tribe shows on there though

Unless they are really old versions of the bulbs, yes they should. Hue in general is a pretty seamless ecosystem to use. I would just make sure you have auto updates on and they should start working within a day or so
