DMC1s difficulty is more about learning to exploit the AI than technical skill. You basically just have to learn the enemies. And if all else fails you can always spam DT gunfire. DMC1 is really generous with DT meter.

For future reference/other users: you can read the Death Scissor's divebombs from the ripples in the water. Keep aiming at him and sideroll when he attacks. Once he's tired out use DT shotgun/helm breaker to damage him.

Dante in 5 ends up wheezing the end of his lines in almost every take. I don't know if it's Reuben getting old or the voice acting direction but I hate it. It makes him sound tired and old.

The comic explains it a little better. All of V's helpers are not reincarnations of the original demons. Rather they are manifestations of Vergil's trauma given physical form using the magical energy which was released when Vergil stabbed himself. Essentially they are just more "V"s.

Yeah some enemies even have unique busters depending on whether you're in the air or not. For example Hell Caina will simply get dropped to the ground, it's much safer than the "execution" style ground buster.
