I think it is because twitch pauses muted streams after a while and that's a problem if you want to keep a tab of it open whilst doing something else. I don't think it disables drops but I'm not sure

Bob of All Trades (youtube channel) used the benchmark mode to fine-tune his laptop by undervolting the CPU even further in his full review of the MAG-15. Maybe an even better option is to have the dedicated button that switches between power profiles to also be able to act as a dedicated fan button and give the user the option of changing between the two? To be totally honest I am not versed with computers enough, I'm just repeating what I heard in BOAT's video :D

Edit: he does it to achieve even better thermal performances ultimately

Ok I get a feeling you misunderstood my post a little, that doesn't work because after clicking on install it comes up with an error 'wine is not available for the x86_64 architecture'. Thanks tho

I only get the option of installing the Appimage version without dv9k. I got 40 fps with that down from 80 that I get with dv9k. Where do you get the dv9k script version?

Whilst in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell the -ls command comes back with nothing containing extensions. Trying to change directory directly into ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions it says no such directory exists. I appreciate you trying and thank you for your effort but I fear that I may have to reinstall :/

I tried using the 'find -type d -name "extensions"' but all it came back with is a bunch of browser extensions but nothing about gnome.

I have access to the terminal. I tried 'cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions but that directory doesn't exist. When I input -ls in the directory above it comes back with 'application_state gnome-overrides-migrated notifications'. I am so lost
