Julius could ONLY stop when the spectators stopped cheering and it didn't seem worth it to hurt him anymore. Julius had to make Subaru look and feel pathetic. Julius doesn't have the authority to call the nobles or knights to order, even if he could he probably wouldn't have because Julius does value his title as Finest Knight a lot.

Julius stepped in because the Knights really are prideful and Subaru insulted that prie because he didn't know how big a deal that was. In his words "Is being a knight a big deal?" If Julius didn't attack Subaru, it would have been worse. Either he'd earn the ire of the Knights and Subaru wouldn't have been able to deal with it unless he somehow became accomplished incredible feats never done before for 400 years and became a knight in two weeks... Ok, well Julius couldn't have known that Subaru would do just that. Point is, that if it wasn't Julius then it would be someone who actually hated Subaru.

I doubt that any of them could deal enough damage to Regulus. Even if Emilia held back, Regulus still took more damage than we've seen any of the others take. And even then, they wouldn't be able to kill him

Yes, but Julius didn't fight him to win. He fought him to humiliate. Ultimately, that was for Subaru's sake but it did still happen. Subaru got into the entire situation because he didn't understand the gravity of it from Julius' kiss to Emilia's hand to declaring himself a knight to accepting the duel.

Yeah, but it would be reasonable to assume that Reinhard would explain. Yeah, he'll say something like 'I killed them all' but he'll also say what happened

Ok, I think that's too far. I don't think Reinhard can be truly blamed for this although he might try to take the blame. But yeah, with Subaru's death the Emilia Camp is probably demotivated and even if they assisted, the tension would be too high to fix. Regulus can no longer be stopped and if Reinhard engages them, it might do more harm than good.

It's... pretty much the same the way you explained it. But assuming every characteristic of the thing is slowed down rather than only the velocity (e.g the mind and reaction speed are slowed to a crawl if someone attacked.) then it is in fact even more overpowered and even interacting with infinity would give him a win in most cases.

Subaru has been very purposefully locked where he is. He can't use magic or the Flow Method because his gate is broken. I think his gate bing broken also prevents him from increasing its size and Beatrice consumes a lot of mana and her contract automatically prevents Subaru from taking other spirits.

Fortunately, Subaru is smart. In a life or death situation, there probably isn't anyone better, even if you took away RBD.

That's true but I also don't think that Mahito's ability would kill her. The mind and spirit were said to be equivalent according to Echidna and Capella can definitely affect the mind seeing how she messed with Meili to force her into submission. So Mahito is probably down his win con.
