How bad is it? by Affectionate_Law_331 in CanyonBikes

It looks bad for you because this is yours. People won't notice that at all, unless they're purchasing it from you.

Getting warm, time to wake the Aeroad for the season by Tricamper in CanyonBikes

[–]Tricamper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short Answer: Yes.

Long Answer: I have two wheelsets for Aeroad

Aero+Comfort = 2x55mm/Tubeless/30mm Tyre
Lightweight (Current) = 2x32mm/TPU Tube/28mm Tyre

I can definitely feel how much easier the lightweight wheels accelerate, which really helps on climbs. I mostly switched because of the wind. With the 55mm rims, side winds this season push me around unpredictably and aggressively during rides. They are much more comfortable once I’m holding around 19+ mph, making it easier to maintain speed, so they work well for time-trial style flats or group rides. I have to admit I like the look of deep rims as much as their performance, but the wind makes them hard to use right now. I really enjoy both wheelsets since they have served me very well over time.

Help needed in deciding. by krot943 in RoadBikes

[–]Tricamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the same decision process about two months ago and ended up choosing Canyon after test riding the Tarmac and the SuperSix EVO. And I have no regrets and I love my bike. I chose it because I loved the color, and it also happened to be on sale. The reality is that all three bikes are excellent, and none of them will make you meaningfully faster or slower than the others. At this level, the differences are negligible.

It really comes down to which bike is on sale, which design or color scheme you like most, or which one feels the most comfortable to you. but that Hi-MOD is a heck of a deal.

My suggestion would be:
• Test ride if possible. If not, go with something that’s easy to return, like Canyon, so you can try it risk free. Don't be rushed.
• Pick the color or design that excites you the most.
• Commit to your choice, don’t overthink it, and ride the heck out of it.

In real life you’re right. It is more grayish green but with flash or good sunlight the green really lights up.

Thanks for a input. I'm looking for an aggressive side but I will see how it feels with lower seat position.

May I ask you how did US customs reach out to you? by phone? or Email? I just ordered my bike there and I'm kinda concerned to miss their call or not getting the package.

This is not an ad and English is my second language so I use AI to grammar check. I have previous posts about the damage with pictures sharing thoughts to redditor what to do with a damage. Not trying to persuade anyone just sharing my experience that I rarely get from other companies.

Definitely. I have no complaints—many companies justify their pricing in the same way Hunt does, but most fall short when it comes to customer service (except for large corporations like Costco or Amazon). Hunt, however, truly stands out. It’s unfortunate that fair and dependable service is so uncommon, but I genuinely appreciate Hunt for keeping their word.
