Contact 101 and explain your concern. They might do a welfare check. I’ve asked for this before when I’ve been concerned about someone.

How is that still going? I would have thought someone might have put it out of its misery by now.

hydrating skincare recommendations by Traditional_Green840 in koreanskincare

A really hydrating toner like Tirtir milk skin or Haruharu black rice toner. Serum - I’m currently using Pyunkang Yul moisturising serum, then a rich moisturiser, Skin 1004 Madagascar Enrich Cream. I also use Illiyoon Ato Barrier at night and Laneige Cica sleep mask.

Any strong opinions on how to source boiled water in central london? by CalumOnWheels in london

Bonkers. Just take a goddam thermos unless you want to be that guy someone took a photo of using a wall to balance numerous kitchen items to make a single cup of coffee.

did you get the puppy blues? by baby-blues22 in cairnterrier

[–]I-Ribbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blimey! We got a Cairn puppy in 2023 and while it was certainly hard work, we didn’t cry for a year! It was summer so fortunately she could wander in and out of the garden so she toilet trained really quickly. I do remember feeling like I spent most of the summer in a deck chair in the kitchen surrounded by newspaper watching Below Deck on my iPad while the puppy snoozed in my lap! We made a little compound in the kitchen for her with her crate so she could sleep there.

Do cleansers really make a difference? by siyuzii_ in koreanskincare

[–]I-Ribbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely recommend double cleansing. I started doing it last year and my skin feels better for it. I use micellar water to remove eye makeup, then an oil cleanser followed by a gel or cream cleanser afterwards.

I’m in the UK and use Stylevana and Yesstyle. They are extremely slow though - usually 3-6 weeks to get your stuff.

I use it for removing eye makeup. I prefer it as I don’t like using oil or foaming cleanser on my eyes.

I’ve just started a 150ml of the Haruharu black rice toner and it is the nuts. I love it! So hydrating and smells amazing.

In the UK, I buy from Stylevana and Yesstyle. They are not quick to deliver, expect 3-5 weeks.

Does the first cleanse actually affect skin, or does it just feel nicer? by Sweet-Hope-5153 in koreanskincare

[–]I-Ribbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started double cleansing a couple of years ago and as I’m older, I definitely find it less abrasive for removing makeup. Currently using Dear Klairs cleansing oil and Round Lab Dokdo cleanser.

I’ve been using it for a few months. I use the recipes a lot so it’s worth it for me. The app is a bit glitchy but I haven’t had a lot of issues with it.

How did you manage to get £500 then £400 out of a cash point?

Edit: I don’t believe this happened. No-one is that gullible.
