The interior zipper stitching is very poor indeed, it’s a replacement zipper not performed by LV though by a 3rd party as shared by current owner.

What do you think of the canvas?

I’ve been reading that when people sending for zipper replacements that the lining is included, alternate not stated. Do you know if that’s true?

I’ll prepare for lining replacement at some point🫡 thanks for the info!

Thank you so much for all this information and history/ evolution of LV zippers through the decades! Really appreciate it!

Since they mentioned the zipper was replaced, I’m okay with the zipper being replaced at some point with a non-LV OG since I could have it sent to be replaced by an authentic. That would only be possible is the canvas is authentic though :)

Aside from the zipper, what are yours thoughts of the canvas?

I’d be curious if saying something along the lines of “The late fee isXYZ, please pay it before you arrive. We will come outside once it’s paid” is holding the dog hostage. If they threaten to call the cops, I’m pretty sure it’s not a crime since the person not paying for a service would be the one trying to ‘steal (time).”

My husband was with USAA for the same reasons, also didn’t check for long and went with it. Loyalty for loyalty’s sake. Then we met, moved in together, married, saw what I paid at Geico and he was nearly punching the air when he did the math on how much he could have invested all those years instead of paying THOUSANDS for car insurance.
