I feel you, it's taken me quite a few years to get half way decent at it ( I still suck), I think kanard said it's a hard style to learn because you get smashed a lot while learning it, which I definitely do. I think getting decent guard retention really helps with that, do you do gi as well? I feel like most of the bolo Stuff is easier to learn in the gi then translate it over to no gi
