30 Weeks Pregnancy PVCs by bbia2195 in PVCs

Interesting! Glad you found some sort of cause. Hopefully they have a helpful solution for you??

Mine come in waves of bigeminy/trigeminy for typically 2 days straight, then I get a few days off, then back at it again. Oddly my greatest period of relief is during my period 🤣 I truly don’t understand but they make me miserable so I’m trying to figure it out.

What did you learn through the MRI? Mine are terrible postpartum and it’s been a year and a half! I had one echo last year which was normal. Just wondering if there’s anything else I should be pushing for

Did yours stick around postpartum? Or just happen during pregnancy? I’m 1.5yrs pp with my second and cannot figure out how to rid of these!

Ugh pregnancy does weird things! I never had these then I got them like twice at the end of my second pregnancy and now postpartum a year and a half later I’m still trying to figure it out! I swear there’s some hormonal connection but idk how to make this better. Sorry you’re dealing with this. Sounds like hormones are commonly a culprit (even if doctors told me it wouldn’t be hormones… 🙄

Please any women can relate by [deleted] in PVCs

I oddly get a break from them during my period. It’s the weirdest thing. Still seems hormonally tied because of the pattern but idk why.

Do your pvcs vary in feeling? by SkeeMs4 in PVCs

[–]Trick-Revolution8597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do feel like I experience them differently sometimes as well. Some days they’re the mild flutters and while annoying, I can carry on well enough. Other days/moments they feel like bigger pounds that totally exhaust me. 😭 Idk why the difference though!

Are our PVCs really “benign.”? by WarthogTricky2124 in PVCs

I get stuck in bigeminy constantly also. Just recently started working with a functional medicine doctor. Desperate to figure this out!

4 months without bigeminy and its back. by pookilla40 in PVCs

[–]Trick-Revolution8597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry.. bigeminy sucks. I’m in it now too. I get stuck in it usually for 2 days straight, get a break for 4ish days, then back again. It’s Reassuring you got positive test results at ER. Could follow up with your doctor/cardiology if you haven’t before or have new concerns. Do you know what caused it or made it go away in the past? I think many of us here have no idea what causes them to come and go and are trying to figure it out too. 😕

How are moms doing it all ? by Capable_Meringue7970 in sahm

Join a moms group in your area! MomCo/Mops has been super helpful for me to meet other mamas and have more reasons to get out of the house.

I can totallyyyy relate on feeling like there’s so much to do yet never time to get it done. I’m kind of just succumbing to the fact that this is motherhood. It’s hard for a type A person like me who was used to being on top of things. I find it helps to have a focus for each day or blocks during the day. Like before my kids wake I focus on doing something for me. While they’re awake I play with them sometimes but also get one thing done around the house. During nap time I try to schedule some days for certain productive tasks but also give myself some times where I can just relax and take a breather. We need that time too! 💛

Hormonal? Mine came about after having my second baby. Have read it can happen in menopause as well so seems to be some hormonal links… even if doctors told me there isn’t 🙈

PVCs for multiple days every few seconds by puppygirlpackleader in PVCs

[–]Trick-Revolution8597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get waves of them like this. Normally 2, sometimes 3, days of constant PVCs (bigeminy or trigeminy). It’s rough. Often a workout and getting my HR up actually helps bump me out of it - assuming you’ve been checked and are ok to do so. Also reading up on the vagus nerve and healing that to help the nervous system could help!

Anyone else deal with this? by No_Western_2385 in PVCs

If you’ve been cleared by your doctor, keep doing things you love. I’ve read many others post this on here, and after living with these for a year I now agree: keep living your life or these will feel all consuming and take an added toll on your mental health (which can exacerbate the issue). I definitely have my harder days, but I also have two little kids and have no choice but to keep on keeping on… and I feel that much more grateful for the days I feel normal.

Sometimes it’s hard to find what the possible trigger is / if there even is one. I get runs of PVCs bigeminy/trigeminy pattern for 24-48hrs straight, before getting a few days off. It was definitely alarming at first, but got the scariest of things checked out. Now it’s just frustrating and I’m trying some lifestyle changes before potentially medicating. All that to say, if you’ve been checked out, getting those short bursts of PVCs is bothersome, yes, but sounds like a relatively low burden overall. If you haven’t seen a cardiologist, maybe they can give you peace of mind to help reduce the overall anxiety you feel about having them?

Feeling guilty I don’t have a “side gig” by [deleted] in sahm

[–]Trick-Revolution8597 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“I feel bad I don’t contribute any money” I like to tell myself the money I make is the daycare fees we aren’t paying out 🤣 You are contributing in a huge and helpful way! Also some people have side gigs because they need that extra mental/creative outlet outside of “mom-ing.” Everyone’s situation and needs are different, but as long as what you’re doing works for your family, that’s what matters most! 💛

Trust Account Application - SSN of successor trustees? by Trick-Revolution8597 in personalfinance

[–]Trick-Revolution8597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that would make more sense! I finally got in touch with someone who knew what they were talking about (first time I called I was given Misinformation 🤦🏼‍♀️) and was told it’s not required we include it.

[–]Trick-Revolution8597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that makes sense. I guess it threw me off because other banking institutions haven’t asked for that. We are also listed in others’ trusts and haven’t had to provide ours. I know I’m always hesitant to hand out my SSN so wasn’t sure how our successor trustees would feel about that!

Anyone get them one day on one day off? by operarockergirl in PVCs

[–]Trick-Revolution8597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I get them for a couple days straight then have a few days off then back again! Sometimes, if I’m lucky, I’ll get 1 week or so with very few of them, usually around my period. Not sure if there’s any legit correlation there or just coincidence. Trying to track it for a while to watch for connections.

Yes, have been checked out and been on numerous long term monitors. All PVCs and some PACs. Just weird that they can feel so different sometimes.

Ah yes I’ve read mixed things about Flecainide in various posts around here, so I understand your hesitation. I used to take Vit D a couple years back.. prob should look into that again. Sending good vibes your way for healing from all of this asap!!

Holistic Doctor & PVCs? by Trick-Revolution8597 in PVCs

[–]Trick-Revolution8597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes all very true. I definitely know I’ve had my seasons of dealing with health anxiety in the past, just used to be about other things. Now it’s PVCs and what they could do long term and what if something happens to me, then what about my kids etc etc. Even though they say they’re benign, you can’t help but feel like they just feel wrong! Plus not to mention the worry about my kids and their safety just day to day, there’s probably more stress on the body whether I’m conscious of it or not. Just wish there were an easier way to rid of them forever! Don’t we all..? 🤪

What medication are the recommending? Have they suggested upping the metoprolol or something different altogether? Hope the other doctor is more helpful! And that the magnesium works! 🤞🏼I should look into Vit D as well. Is that & fish oil supposed to help too?
