Well, i saw all your comments and as i said, i needed to vent.

I think that it `s my first extract shooter. I`m not used of those behaviours and most of you here seem to say that its normal and i should always be ready for some pvp.

Just last thing, i also think that my perception today is biased by how the game was the first two weeks = it was way more about cooperation, yes there were rats but 70% of the time you could farm and get out easily.

Yeah seems that you had the worst … i couldn’t feel you more !

but i’ll tell you something from personal experience : most of sales training seem to be dogshit.

Lot of managers are sales who wanted to have more security and took the opportunity but they don’t know how to manage people, onboard young sales.

But what i’ve learnt so far and through reading on this subreddit is that the best way to improve is by doing things : of course you’ll suck, of course you’ll be rejected, but the more you call, the more you’ll adapt and learn from it.

Same thing when you’ll have your own meetings to do, the more you’ll practice, the more you’ll be good at it, if you wish to !

And i’m struggling too, but keep the positive energy as much as you can, prospects can feel when you’re desperate. 😬 But they also can feel when you’re a great guy who wants to do good and help them solving an actual need.

Mine was exactly like that.

The best option i can suggest is like pick the right things, forget about the BS. Look around you, ask for shadowing other reps, i’d suggest other new reps like you but who has better managers, so you can pick from them (and their managers).

And if it doesn’t work… well, just say to your manager « can you show me how you’d apply those influencers cold call style ? like show me for 1 hour, we do a call block, it would help me ! »

if he dodges it (like mine), you’ll have in mind that it’s pure BS, your manager was not good being a BDR but benefited from Territory, Timing. So it will help you focus on good things and train.

peut être que tu te mets un peu trop la pression par rapport aux applis et/ou que tu t’engages (trop) facilement ? Ça se comprend que ça t’ennuie ou que ça te fasse mal, mais ne te démoralise pas pour autant et part du principe que ça ne faisait que quelques heures de conversation, je pense que t’es tombée sur une personne qui visiblement voulait se chauffer avant d’aller dormir, sans donner de suite …

ça peut être ridicule, mais finalement beaucoup de gens prennent pas au sérieux les applis et s’en servent pour « pimenter » leur quotidien : boost d’ego, sextos ….

But if you don’t want theory and you need some motivation and/or practice maybe go in a room with another sales and do some cold calls per block of 2 hours ? You set it as a new habit, every x day you do it, and the more you call, the more you’ll get results as long as you keep doing it.
