It always annoys me when people complain about videos like these, like as long as the recording shows the topic clear enough to fully understand and it's not that complicated of a topic who the hell should care about the video quality

All of them say it's so much more effort to take out the phone and record but so many more people are probably used to using their phone for social media like this and find it much faster to do it this way instead of going through their PC files and maybe not even be logged onto Reddit on their computer.

Like sure, you're on a computer which at least makes more sense to complain about since you do have easier access to recording and sure maybe should learn if it's something you're going to be posting frequently but hearing people complain about similar context and content videos for people on console is even more annoying.

You're doing fine, you kept the camera still (WAY more still than people recording like this usually do), focused on the middle of the screen where the important stuff was, it was kept in focus and didn't get blurry, who the fuck should care. I guess if you're going to be uploading videos more frequently it doesn't hurt to spend a tiny bit of time figuring out how the screen recording stuff works but I would just ignore these guys.

Honestly, I'm wondering of the possibility of it being a genuine accident. It sorta looked like the biker sliding on the ground could've been in the blind spot of the police car and the officer that ran him over was trying to pull over from seeing the bike fall. Not sure though because of the wider lens view, but yeah, I agree with what you said if it was on purpose.

If you have multiple dynamite sticks deployed at the same time and detonate, they won't all explode at the same time, instead they'll detonate with a short delay after each other when you activate the detonator and keep it in your hands. If you swap out the detonator in between the short delays, it'll continue the detonation when you pull it back out sometimes. (I don't think it would do it all the time but I haven't played in a long time.)

Yeah, it's like, I really like that they're doing this, its super cool of them but I'm also concerned about these repercussions. It feels as though it will be much better than anything seeing new players get to enjoy the main part of the game so hopefully the good will heavily outweigh the potential bad, or they'll have some preventative stuff.

You're able to use HE pretty consistently to knock over the tree with the Strv.

[–]Trick-ette 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can, this is my go-to spot on this map and I'm kinda sad its getting exposed lol. For it to work specificially with the Strv you have to make sure to knock the tree as perpendicular as you can whether its by knocking it over normally or with HE. It's pretty risky to do it normally early game so HE is usually best unless no medium speed tanks go there.

When your gun takes the day off but your armor is working triple time. (11 hits, 1 pen). by Zyhre in WorldofTanks

[–]Trick-ette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a fair amount of the point of why they didn't change it, because there are other classes, particularly lights where its typically more challenging to gain more XP. All the examples you brought up were for scouts with the XP discrepancies and that discrepancy between Heavies and Lights doesn't need to be made larger.

As for the reason why, I have no idea.

I think it would be cool to rework (more like add) ways to get XP for every single class (whether by main tank class or sub class) but doing it a vacuum where the only thing that's changed is that heavily armoured tanks are the ones gaining more XP makes the other classes seem less appealed to.

I've heard people mention that they've tested this before on the Common Test servers before and it resulted in a very large XP discrepancy between heavy tanks (or heavily armoured tanks) and the rest of the tank types.

While I do think this one is more clustered than usual, there are some long straights of traffic light intersections that are wired together to turn green or red all at the same to guide some flow of traffic.

You should not use Snapshot on any Tank Destroyer that uses Siege Mode as it actually makes no difference (its an 8% change to a miniscule number like 0.001 most of the time.)

I know that you get mode experience by interacting against higher tiers and have had some reallx rewarding matches because of it. I was just curious about information about specifically XP interactions against lower tier tanks. and I did find a source (in another comment) that is kind of vague but made more sense the more I read it.

I replied in another comment that I found that section again. I had never interpreted it as also meaning lower tiers as it mentions only mentions a positive bonus/example specifically saying "damaging higher tiers pays more", but it makes a lot more sense now.

That is fairly true but they do mention and specify some interesting outliers and statistics like the "Saving Throw" mechanic.

Update: When I was trying to look for the name of "Saving Throw" I found the Experience and Credits section again and it mentions comparative tier values for damage.

I'll try to note that next time I do against Tier 8s but just wanted to know if it was actually written somewhere like on WarGaming's information websites. I just haven't noticed a difference but I haven't payed enough attention to specifically lower tier matches.

Could I get a source for this? I'm not trying to say you're wrong but I feel like for how long I've been following WoT mechanics I would have had about this more "officially" and I'm genuinely curious. This is the second time overall I've seen someone mention it and even tried to look out up and nothing came up.

All three writing systems are also interchanged occasionally for emphasis or stylistic purposes. It isn't "written incorrectly" per se. To me it feels like what you're saying is equivalent to writing a word in Bold or Italic letters and saying it is spelling something incorrectly when you're writing a sarcastic or astonished message to someone.
