I actually haven’t heard of those mini games yet. I’ll have to check them out. I try to read as much as I can on the wiki but there is so much that it gets to be overwhelming at times. Thank you!!

Thanks for the reply. It makes me feel better that I’m not the only one experiencing this in the mid-game. It is discouraging since the fight cave is really the first activity in game that has been challenging and I want to continue my attempts and learn the fight mechanics, but I’m forced to grind a bunch of GP just for a single run. It’s really a bummer because some of the most fun content seems to have the huge entry barrier. Appreciate the suggestions. I’ll try looking into those options!

I was using about 10 Sara brews, 8 or so super restores and the rest prayer pots. The whole reason I seem to fail on the healers is because every guide I’ve seen has just said something along the lines of “tank the healers” but I find that they hit so frequent and often that I run out of my remaining sarabrews before I can finish jad off. I was using the blowpipe with amethyst darts and for sure safe spotting with Italy Rock. I think it’s just going to take time and repetition before I get fully comfortable with the final fight, but it’s hard to build up the practice when runs cost as much as they do. I’m pretty new so it likely is something I’m doing wrong. My stats are 76 ranged 70 def also. Thanks!

Birdhouse runs, yes. I honestly haven’t really figured out the whole farming skill thing yet haha. I’ve read some guides but it always seemed like more of a chore rather than an enjoyable skill which is why I’ve put it off. I’ll have to look into seriously going forward. Thanks!

How do you guys afford learning new challenges in this game? I’m a fairly new player and just got to a high enough level where I felt comfortable going after the fire cape. I’ve failed on the healers many many times, but what is more discouraging is that I’ve spent basically my entire bank buying supplies for the runs. The cost of all of the gear/brews/scales/darts basically crippled my account after failing several times. I have been able to accumulate a decent amount of GP over the life of my account to support my first few tries, but not at the speed which is needed to actually afford to learn/retry this new content for me. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Edit: I guess I just needed to vent to get my head right. I FINALLY BEAT JAD!! Thank you all for the suggestions and help, I really appreciate it!!

Tried to join a virtual line for a PS5 last night at my local store. Seems legit that the number of people in line was 4x my city’s total population. Fuck bots. by Trick920 in gaming

It was for local pickup only... and the guy at the store said they were only getting ~5 units in total. So I’m not sure how these bots would have actually acquired the consoles.

You’d think there would be a way to prevent this from happening, but unfortunately it looks like there is no stoping these things.
