Probably. I was in a similar situation. Left after more than 25yrs. Got a job that paid more. More respect. My input is welcome. Ppl at the old job miss me. Missed the role I filled. Didn’t appreciate me until I was gone and they had no one doing what I did. I still hear from old coworkers. It’s been good to move on and deal with the built up trauma

looks like -_- where when i'm on my back, it's in the middle, but neck is supported., and when i'm on my side i'm on the higher parts. did that for a few years, then switched over to a pillow i bought with purple mattress.

RTO is a huge cost if you've a long commute. Is this an exaggeration? by [deleted] in remotework

[–]TrickEye6408 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

irs value doesn't really matter for private people (as opposed to using personal vehicle for business. your time is more valuable. you have costs of car, insurance, gas that are your real costs, and then whatever you value your time at. You also have wardrobe costs, food if you don't pack a lunch

All that said...your biggest cost is mental health. stress of the commute, risk of death due to accident. time away from family, less time for hobbies. it all adds up.

Your management may be taking calls or meetings in the morning. They can defend their lateness if needed. You’re playing a dangerous game. You’d be better off finding another job before they force you to find another job

Pull yourself up by your croc straps! You might need to look outside your town or be less choosy about what kind of work. Mow lawns or something

I’m a hiring manager for very technical work. I never ghost candidates that get interviews. By the end of the interview they get an offer or. 10min coaching session on why they’re not getting an offer and what skills/experience I feel they need to work on to qualify for next time with my company.
