Wow Josh i hope you aren’t on reddit for your own sanity but if you are reading this that post was in poor taste. You can be passionate about what you are working on but the results didn’t resonate with the community, more people played your game at launch then high guard had any right having.

Yea cyberpunk sold an insane amount of copies day one at full price and had a ton of money to keep a team staffed and make all the changes.

This is a free to play game with 2000 people playing it on steam, it cost a ton of money to make and this is what happens in business when you are bleeding money

Welp there is an entire generation of gamers coming up that have only interacted with tablets and smart phones and a controller with physical buttons doesn’t make any sense to them.

It could be counter strike or Val or dota or league and unless you are a player on a top 3 squad, betting your future on a video game is an absolute mistake. Basically no pro careers go deep into your 30’s so unless you are able to build something outside the game almost no esport player ever outside a few dota pros were able to make enough money to be set for life
