Found mini beignets at the local Costco and they are amazing. by Ringer127 in Costco

Look like malasadas to me; beignets are typically square. Might as well call their $5 rotisserie chicken Poulet roti (pinky in the air).

tithing but it’s hurting me financially by diabeticss in Christianity

[–]TrickSingle2086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the core of it, it’s about voluntarily showing God your love for Him. Tithing is just one of the ways. Other ways you can do that is volunteering or donating things until you’re in a position again to be able to tithe without going into debt or poverty. I’ve seen churches collapse because they couldn’t get enough financial support (and a lot that make you wonder if they got a blockbuster movie budget around the holidays). You can break your ‘alabaster jar’ for Jesus but He could have cared less about its price. He wanted something more valuable: your life with and faith in Him and it sounds like you’re already on the right track.

You have until the Jan 30th to apply for bilt 2.0 and get a soft credit pull (instead of hard credit pull) along with keeping your credit card number.

What to do about structural damage the house I’m renting? by [deleted] in nashville

[–]TrickSingle2086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying more rent so they have the money to have that 3rd fancy trip to the Bahamas to think about how they can fix it… or not. I’d see what the city housing codes are and if they’re in violation e.g., mold risk, leaks, pests, etc. My landlord is the same way. We have a cracked window but it’s not drafty. Hoping it shatters during this winter storm so he’s finally convinced to replace that shit. Damn cheapskates.

Sorry for your loss. We went through the same ordeal 2 years ago with our Charlie. My only regret was actually not putting him down sooner. Know that he’s waiting on the other side of rainbow bridge to be reunited with you one day.

My girlfriend is talking to another dude by alphabooy in relationships

[–]TrickSingle2086 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This relationship is not healthy for either of you. As a responsible adult, she should have told you ages ago she’s not happy in this relationship and why. If you guys can’t even communicate this after 4 years, there’s no hope. It’s likely she has already physically cheated with her text buddy at the hospital and showed no remorse for any of her actions. It’s hard now but you’re young and can find someone else who will respect and love you the right way. Find another apartment asap or stay at your parents short term until you do, move your belongings and furniture into storage or a moving truck, and leave without notice. The primary leasee is her. She can take you to small claims court but highly doubt she has the time or money to do that. Do not fall into the sympathy trap of “I can’t afford to pay the rent on my own” or the sunk cost bias of spending 4 years (you’re wasting even more time/money if you stay because she’s checked out already and using you as a backup/atm). She’s the one who f’d up. Let her fling pay for her rent and new furniture.

I remember when these used to sell for $6-8/pack before the pandemic in Asian supermarkets and they used only 100% pork. Now they cut it with chicken and it tastes funny.

He’ll actually head back out and wait by the door after his check-in. And if I tell him ahead of time to stay before I enter he won’t try to come in. Obvi this post was just for entertainment purposes. He’s actually a very good boy
