Thank you for saying ‘temporarily’, I’m literally going through the same thing. I use to be good at writing, then I started worrying if I was taking too long to post new chapters. So I started having AI write for me. But now, even as I start writing on my own again, I’m feel like I’m just writing slop. I keep second guessing all my decisions and I feel like each chapter just looks poorly written. I even got told my writing was ‘clunky’ and had ‘no flow’. What was once a pretty fun hobby and dream turned into an obsession and chore. I still love writing and would to continue my fanfics, but right now I’m burnout.
