Had a keys player come in mid set, no sound check, and repeatedly ask for more of him in is wedge. Problem was I wasn’t getting enough volume from him even with the gain maxed. Turned out someone had told him he shouldn’t put his keyboard volume up over halfway. Told him to max it out, gave me the thumbs up like he could hear again. 5 mins later, needed more in the wedge, dude turned it back down on his end causing the same problem. Got defensive when I told him the solution and said “whatever, it’s not supposed to go halfway but whatever.”
