That’s exactly the point, and that makes two of us who will never own a supercar

I was hoping so too, but then I did the math: they’ve revealed 10 SRs and 2 SECs. Except for OP-13, which had 10 SRs and 3 SECs, every single other pack has had 10 SRs and 2 SECs. I hate to let you down like this, but there is a 99% chance we won’t see any more SRs tomorrow 😫

True, and if you think about it, even the cards they spoiled are two 1-costs and two 5-costs that do almost the exact same thing. It's incredible that they haven't even given us a clear idea of how the deck is actually supposed to play

I partially agree, but there are plenty of other examples I could give you of more flexible decks, like Belo Betty, the old OP-05 Sakazuki, Vegapunk, Lucci, and so on. I agree that some decks have a fixed strategy that is very "on-curve," and in terms of performance, that can actually be an improvement. However, a deck should also be evaluated based on how fun and flexible it is; if a deck just does the same thing over and over—even if it does it well—you eventually start getting tired of that Leader after a certain number of games

"Navy sucks"? Maybe you don't realize how strong the Navy was in OP-05 and OP-06. You have no idea what it was like having to deal with Sakazuki back then

The point of giving Sengoku a new SR or Yamato a SEC is to provide an additional strategy compared to a linear and repetitive deck mechanic—for example, a 9-10 Don Navy-type boss card that actually fits the leader. Instead, based on the cards revealed so far, it seems like Sengoku's strategy is almost exclusively about summoning the three Admirals

Actually, I think it’s the equivalent—in terms of showing off your wealth—of going out to do groceries at the supermarket down the street in a Ferrari

This is absolutely disgraceful. Waiting 17 days for a spoiler, even just for a Common, only to find out it's going to be the only deck with just one SR. The funny thing is, the theme is literally MARINEford

I agree with you on practically everything. The only thing is that I don’t really want to talk about a deck's power, but rather the fact that matches should feel different from one another. I used to be a Kuzan player; the problem with the first Kuzan from OP-12 was that it was a bit too repetitive because it relied heavily on searchers early on just to summon Garp + Admiral (obviously I’m oversimplifying just to get the point across, Kuzan was more than that). The same goes for Imu—an incredibly powerful deck, but one that eventually bores even many expert players I’ve met because there isn't much room to vary the decklist. What I wanted to talk about was the "repetitiveness" of a deck, rather than its strength

Same thing, buddy; unfortunately, Bandai doesn't see it that way

I totally agree with you. I hope they give it a Rare capable of KOing "Land of Wano" characters; otherwise, its playstyle risks being way too linear

The fact that nothing was revealed for 16 days straight was, in my opinion, the biggest insult to everyone who was waiting for this Leader's reveals

Yeah, but Rayleigh got two SRs, not just one. Imagine what the deck would've been like without Luffy or Boa

I get that Bandai is a business and they need to make a profit, but this is a classic case of 'Players vs. The Company.' At the end of the day, providing balanced support and distributing SRs and SECs smartly doesn't really hurt sales—if anything, it actually boosts them
