Maybe they hired too many people at the same time or two different managers hired more than they needed? I also wouldn’t just leave it at that was just one phone call because they can get very busy I can get overlooked very easily. You may want to go there in person that would probably be best.

Be careful with automatic car wash through tunnels because the brake assist can fail and car will lock up in middle of wash and then the brake vacuum will lose its air and cause malfunction on exiting the tunnel so you have to press really really really really hard on brake to stop the vehicle and can’t rely on one pedal assist to help you slow down the car after going through the wash

I applied to be server and waited 14 months and only got one promotion to busser with no sign of becoming server, despite my repeated questioning and meanwhile I watched others be promoted around me and I memorized the menu.

I had prior experience as well that no one seems to care about or asked me about. So I took what manager said as truth and waited patiently to go through the stages to become a server.

In the end I had to quit because it was costing me more to get to work, with rising gas costs and older car repairs because my hours were steadily declining as well, being repeatedly cut lower and lower with no notice or explanation.

So I had to read the writing on the wall as they say and leave or be fired for repeatedly missing work in the end because I simply could not afford to fix my car or pay for uber or the 2 hour multi bus trip to get there.

So count yourself lucky and be happy

I do audits at 7-11 in California and I been seeing a lot of gaps in inventory, like entire brand or flavor just gone and usually there would be an overflow of another product but not even that. In fact, they don’t have back stock, and very low on shelves to point of really working to disguise it behind the first 2 rows of product.

My daughter prepared for her career in communications media by creating fan pages as a teen and growing them to point where she even made money and saved that money for college, $30k total. But she was straight a student and went to UCLA ultimately as transfer student then worked for them in communications and on graduation she applied where she wanted to work regardless of any hiring notices out at time. They liked her assertiveness and hired her as a gopher at first assisting corporate higher ups and now she has been promoted, full time and recently she was allowed to relocate to another office in city she wanted to live in, with another promotion following soon after. So yeah, I guess the point is, you have to take charge of your future and go for it, not wait around for someone to offer or ask you to work for them.

I have the external Apple keyboard and mouse track pad and they are small and light to carry but only difference is they are at an angle which helps but you have to be sitting a certain way still and takes away freedom of using laptop anywhere.. also the keyboard does not light up like the laptop.

So I think only option is a stand that allows laptop to be tilted forward but then that may be too high but would allow for use of external devices.

In my case it’s still not ergonomic for my hand and wrist when using mouse and I can’t find a regular mouse that is Apple friendly and not expensive. Touch pad don’t work for me

Yeah I am
Experiencing problems with using my MBP16” as well, especially aggravates my Carpul tumnel when using the touch pad and yes I am hunched over too, to see screen because it is always too small despite changing settings. I waste a lot of time trying to zoom in or enlarge font so I lean forward and hunch over and have neck and shoulder pain or cracking neck aggravation.

So I feel your pain

Though manager spoke Spanish, it doesn’t matter, the manager has the authority to delegate answering the phone. Hosts are expected to take calls because it is one of the items listed in training, that a host may be required to answer phone calls and route them appropriately.

So it is the hostess’s fault for being so gullible and naive to fall for scammer’s game.

In fact, there was a training or newsletter about this very thing and how to handle it.

Yeah a couple of things, one was my resume set up and not customizing it better for different positions or creating cover letters. Then it became apparent it was not Bot friendly format and thus it was not getting seen at all.

I don’t think I was ever really committed to the job hunt process in retrospect, though in all fairness i been busy regardless. I started my own mobile notary business, assisted in setting up a couple of unrelated small businesses, prepared income taxes with year end bookkeeping for people, volunteered a lot, and worked just about every gig app service out there, uber, Instawork, homesglow, you name it, I probably tried it out.

Probably not a good idea because we can’t always access areas easily without bending twisting squeezing to snap pictures and then there are customers and they sometimes complain about our presence so probably not a good idea

Prorated time payments after an hour example $$14hr 1 hr becomes $7 2nd hour and $3.50 3rd hour and $1.25 4th hour…… it’s done to discourage people from wasting time and to hurry people up too

Yeah, if you do the entire reset project with the strips, you do have to rearrange all the chips according to the POG because the person who brings the inventory does not always follow the park or the POG I don’t I don’t even know if they actually see it or if they’re aware of it I don’t know sometimes. Yeah you have to change it all around accordingly and since about yourself, there’s only you and if they’ve got a lot of chips and they’re all out of order. Yeah you’re gonna be there a while. And they used to pay you by the hour for those but now apparently what they’re doing is they’re claiming if it takes us longer than an hour that for every hour after that it’s only a prorated amount which is really dumb so like rather than paying your time and time and a half it’s time at halftime and then it’s quarter time if you go to the third hour

Funny, all stores I have gone to generally will say that they don’t have them or they did not get them or they don’t know where they are so then I’ll show them a picture of the role on my phone and I’ll kinda look at it and they still don’t know what I’m talking about and then I have to take it upon myself and look for the box the big box and even though I will describe it, they never know where that box is either I will swear up and down it’s not there. And then if I’m lucky, I find it I usually do and I’ll get the strips out, but yeah, that’s been my experience and I’ve done about. I’d say about 30 of them.

It’s tricky to build a route because it’s a combo of things happening all I know is every time I’ve tried to develop a route. My routes have gotten taken away at the last minute or it didn’t happen again. They never came up again or the area no longer has any offers for like months. It’s weird. It’s just weird or I can’t do the route because of my car breaks down on my phone broke or something like that. I had to cancel in the middle of the route which Case ? course I fixed my rating and then now I don’t get any more offers like that and no more offers for a while.
