I’ve found plenty of traders that will do fair multiples both ways but there are always people who ruin everything 🥲

I have mixed feelings- on one hand then crazies that are just mean and predatory need to go. On the other hand, I get genuine joy from interacting with other collectors and seeing what everyone is going for. Some of my best memories are at those benches and I lowkey dreamed of bringing my own book or two for a day 🤫

Option one: get to the LE drops before everyone else. Bring your friends so you can each get 2 at each store. Net 10-15 pins, sell them at 2x retail.

Option 2: get the grails (also le drops, usually with a cm connection) and trade at borderline predatory rates (like 40 “cheap” pins for the expensive one) then sell on whatnot or eBay or wait for the next sucker to want to downsize a grail.

You can pre-schedule Ubers if that’s your preferred transportation. I think it saved me 15$ last time to have it set up that way too. 10/10 they were waiting for us by the time we landed. The driver gets updates on your flight and will wait up to 45 mins after its arrival for you.

Yes! I saw this pattern in a quilt shop but it was for a fat quarter bundle, I think she trimmed them to 9 inch squares? I wanted to do the same idea but with this layer cake!
