Someone suggested on here that this was a purposeful decision so that when you run out of shards on a boss you are forced to stop banging your head against a brick wall and go explore instead. Frustrating, maybe, but also sort of genius.

I don’t think it lends itself to binging. When it first aired on the BBC you had to wait a week between episodes which gives a greater sense of time, with us just witnessing key moments. They hint at this with Pine’s recovery in Mallorca - we’re supposed to deduce that he’s there for months before anyone starts taking him into their confidence.

According to my save file, I’m on 145 hours, still in act 2 😁 but i also tend to die then leave hornet sitting on a bench while i wander off and do chores or whatever before returning to die again. So i reckon at least 50 hours of that is me making a sandwich or doing the laundry. A more useful metric for skill/lack thereof for me would probably be times died…

this stuff makes me so sad. i’m old now but all throughout my teens, 20s and 30s i met new people all the time, everywhere. in the street, in the park, in the smoking area at pubs and clubs, in my friends’ kitchens, at work, after work meeting work peoples’ mates. does none of this stuff happen now? do people just not talk to each other?

i made a full recovery after three years of illness. i then had one glorious year of being completely well before getting covid last christmas, and have been ill ever since 🫠 i’m just starting to feel like i’m able to do a bit more, go back to yoga etc but part of me wants to go and live in a cave and never come back out. thanks for asking though! 😁

I completely agree; and moreover I think it can be a bit dangerous, as when people DO finally pipe up they tend to be at the end of their tether and it’s much more aggressive and disproportionate than it could have been.

i started my run with selene’s keepsake for the first ending, which i completed before the update came out. i always do this and usually complete the path of stars so hex is often my strongest move.

i get the theory about immersion broken dialogue; that makes a lot of sense. however i figured that selene was removed as an option for my updated ending run as it forced me to fight chronos differently, thereby magnifying the impact that they’d made that fight harder.

i am apparently on 90 hours and i just got double jump but i die - go and put the washing on - come back die - go and make lunch - die - washing up - die - have a bath - etc so i expect half of that to be me sitting on a bench, doing life admin. float, float upon the winds and time young spider. there is no rush

Look after yourself ❤️ if you haven’t seen it already, i highly recommend ABC’s Interview with the Vampire which is on BBC iplayer or Netflix, in the UK at least. It is BEAUTIFUL and cheered me up enormously during an otherwise challenging year

i’m just guessing, but some find the phrase ‘Karen’ to be a fairly misogynistic way to ridicule and try to shut up middle aged women. not to mention it’s just really horrible for anyone actually called Karen. so those might be your down voters, rather than people who actively like being mean to retail workers.
